Dinah
She was gone, again. She had been taken again, and this time, I wasn't stopping till I saw every person who helped, dead on the ground. I couldn't believe this had happened again. Not only had she been taken, but it had happened right under my nose, again.
I promised I wouldn't let her go, I promised I wouldn't let her go but I couldn't seem to keep any promises anymore. The first time she was taken, it had been by Doritol who had sent his undercover men to take her without me knowing when Michael came.
The men who had invaded were not of Michael's squad or Doritol's but I knew exactly who they were. It had known about the Hamilton's and the fact that they even dare cross me only infuriated me more. They were partnered with Michael's mob because they were weak, only using him for protection. I would need as much information on the Hamiltons as I could find because time was running out and I needed Lauren back.
We had tried following them but the one car with my wife had escaped before we sent our squadron out. To where? I did not know but I could only hope she wasn't being hurt.
"Mrs. Hansen," one of my men opened the door to my office and stepped in, his sunglasses covering his eyes.
"What is if? Do you have information about my wife? About the Hamiltons and what they want with her?" I questioned, my foot tapping quickly in anxiousness.
"Yes and no-"
"What do you mean yes and no?!" He looked down, silent for a moment before meeting my gaze.
"Lauren Jauregui had been named Caporegime of the joined southern and northern mob." When the words left his mouth, my eyes nearly popped out of my skull as I processed his words. I felt myself tense at the sound of her old last name and the fact that she had been crowned Capo. This had to be some joke. "Yesterday at approximately 14:20 she rallied the southern mob and our own, promising a new bring up of the mob."
My fingers had found themselves rubbing my temples in anger, trying to calm myself. I was furious.
"I am Caporegime!" I yelled, rising from my seat as my agent became tense at my change in personality.
"I'm sorry ma'am but she took your place at the ceremony. What are your orders?"
"Send my men! All of them! Take our chair as Capo back and kill anyone who stands in our way!" I was clenching my fists so tightly my knuckles turned white, my breathing heavy.
"And for Miss Jauregui?" I shuddered at the sound of her name. She wasn't Lauren Jauregui. She was Lauren Hansen, and god so help anyone who said otherwise.
"Keep her alive. I'll deal with her. Go, now! I'll be on the flight in thirty minutes. You are dismissed!" The agent nodded his head before pressing his earpiece to tell the others about the plan as he left. Lauren was going to pay for this, and so was everyone else.

The jet flight was a rough one once we hit the Rocky Mountains, a large storm swirling over the tall mountains but we managed to make it through. We were moving at a quick pace, hopefully quick enough to be there after all the men had but captured, along with my wife.
I still couldn't believe she had done this. She had been taken again, but this time it was willingly. I had examined the security footage and just as I had suspected, she had left on her own, trying to get away. I did not know why she tried to leave, there was only audio footage in my office and the main parts of the house but whatever it must've been was enough to make her leave.
The doctor had been shot and killed before I was able to reach him and ask what had happened which was making things a lot harder than they should've been. If I would've known about what was wrong with her, we could've had an easier time tracking her but we didn't, and that was an issue.
"Mrs. Hansen, prepare for docking to base 727." The pilot spoke through the earphones and I nodded, slipping my seatbelt on to keep me from flying up and crashing into the ceiling as we descended at the quick pace.
My nerves were tingling at the strange sensation as I felt my organs quiver at the fast motion, making me feel a bit sick but once we landed, the feeling dissipated and I was fine. Walking out of that jet was like entering the past as I looked around, seeing all the city's buildings rising a few miles away, bringing back memories of this place. This was home. I didn't want it to be, but it was.
"Mrs. Hansen, we have a pinpoint on Lauren, permission requested to engage?""Permission granted. Bring her back to my old house. Kill anyone who stands in the way," I spoke in my mic, walking towards the car that I would be traveling in. Once I was inside, we were moving through the streets at a high speed that hopefully wouldn't get the police engaged.
Half of my men had been killed this morning, trying to stop the ceremony that took place but Michael's men over ran them by numbers, not skill. In my heart, I felt a sting at the thought. I didn't care personally for them, but they had been loyal and fought for the Hansen's which was by oath but it still made me proud. This was what the business was, protecting the family.
"Mrs. Hansen. Operation was successful. We have Jauregui with us." An agent spoke as I listened, smirking to myself.
"Take her to the house. I'll be there in five minutes," I ordered and the man said yes ma'am before going offline, leaving me to drown in my own triumph. I didn't know why she thought she could escape me, take my place, or even regain her own freedom. She was still a Hansen, and I would make her pay for what she had done.

Once we reached my old house, things moved slowly like I was walking straight through history as the gates opened and we rolled in. I could feel my muscles tingly with the sensation of excitement and I knew why. I would get to hurt her, I would get to make her pay. I couldn't walk any faster as I exited the car, practically running to the front door and pushing it open.
To my surprise, Lauren was calm as she watched me, her hands tied behind the chair she was seated on. I found myself smiling as I walked forward, tracing her jaw line with my thumb. "Oh how beautiful you are," I said softly as she glared at me, her green eyes boiling with anger.
Laughing quietly, I looked around, wondering where the men who had taken her were. Turning around, I walked to the long hallway, raising an eyebrow when I didn't see them. What was going on? "Agent Horan? Hello? Do you read me?" I pressed down on my mic in my ear, only becoming more confused when I didn't receive an answer. "Hello?" I asked again, still not getting an answer.
Spinning on my heel, my eyes widened when I found Lauren standing up, her hands clasped around the hilt of a gun.
Her eyes were swelled with tears as she sprinted it at me, one drop running down her cheek. Instinctively, I reached back for my own gun but I found nothing and I mentally cursed myself for being so careless. I had left it in the car with my bag from the flight, assuming the men would be here to handle her if she tried anything but they weren't. I was on my own.
"Lauren...what are you doing?" I asked hesitantly, trying my best to stay calm. I had watched hundreds of men panic when they were being held at gun point and knowing it only urged me to shoot them, I stayed still.
"I hate you." She said through gritted teeth, her hair messy along with cuts and bruises on her light skin. This was what it would be. Revenge. I had done so many things to her and now she was getting back at me.
"Lauren, come on. Put the gun down." I knew she was capable of killing, and that was something that scared me. She would do it unless I could talk her out of it.
"For the past months, you have tortured me, mistreated me, hurt me! I hate you! And I want you gone!" She yelled and I felt myself tense at her words. Her eyes were red as she held the gun with both hands, her green orbs possessing an anger even I couldn't hold.
"Just put the g-" It went off with a bang and I felt my eyes widen even more, my mouth open in surprise as I felt the steady trickle of blood leaving my stomach. I couldn't even say anything as she stared at me, watching as I fell to the ground, trying to hold my gut.
She had shot me, and I was going to die.
