Five. Not just one, but five puppies y/n was sneaking into the house. The Joker's house. She was on her way home from grocery shopping. Since the weather was actually nice for once in Gotham, and the store and the house wasn't that far, she decided she'd just walk. On the way, y/n found a box on the pavement, but what caught her attention was that there were voices coming from that box. Puppies' bark to be exact. Y/n approached the box to see that inside were five Golden Retriever puppies with sign that reads "Adopt Me". Dogs were y/n's only weakness... Okay besides those blue eyes of J. She couldn't just walk away and leave them there. She couldn't just choose one and leave the rest either. So there she was, sneaking five little puppies into the King of Gotham's house. The Joker and puppies weren't something that should be in the same sentence. Ever. That's why y/n never asked him for one though she always wanted a dog, she knew it'd only angered him and angry Joker definitely wasn't something anyone'd want to deal with. Joker wasn't home, he was out doing business. 'He'd kill me if he finds out I brought puppies into his house' Y/n thought as she looked down at the little fluff balls she held in the box in her arms. "What am I gonna do with you?" Y/n sighed. She decided she'd keep them in the basement for now until she figured out what to do. Apparently, the basement was where Joker likes to play with his victims in case he brought them home, but that doesn't happen often. So y/n hoped that tonight wasn't going to be one of those nights J brought his victim home because if it is, then she fucked up real bad. The Joker came home that night with the poor man who doesn't have J the money he promised. "Hi, doll. Daddy will be in the basement with his friend. Don't wait" Joker said. He had his arm on the poor guy's shoulder. Squeeze it when he said the word "Friend". The guy flinched. Beyond terrified. Basement? Shit

Joker was about to reach the door that'd open to the stairs that lead down to the basement with his henchmen that escorted the poor guy behind. Y/n rushed to stand in front of J, right when he was about to reach the doorknob. "What is it, doll face?" J asked. I need to come up with something fast. "Daddy, I've been soooo lonely without you. You've been gone all day. Come play with your girl, please" "Daddy's busy right now, doll?" J said "But daddy, I've been such a naughty girl. Think I need to be punished. Y/n seductively said. "I'm busy, doll. Move" "Fine. If you can't help a girl out, seem like I will have to pleasure myself" And with that, y/n walked out of the way, knowing too well this always worked. She heard the Joker growl from behind and slightly smirked to herself. *Bang* Joker shot the poor guy in the head and said to his henchmen "Problem's solved, boys. Clean up the mess" Joker then walked his way out of the door that leads to the basement and was now facing y/n within seconds. "Oh such a naughty naughty little kitten, needs to be punished hmmm" Before y/n knew it, she was roughly thrown over J's shoulder as he carried her upstairs to the bedroom. Puppies need to drink milk every 3 hours, which resulted in y/n having to sneaked out of bed at night to feed them. The Joker always sleep with one eye open. "Where are you going, doll?" "Ugh umm kitchen, baby. I'm hungry" "But you just had pizza 3 hours ago" Oh shit how could I forgot I used that excuse just last time "Well guess what, baby, I'm still hungry" And with that, y/n walked out of the door, leaving the Joker there with suspicious look on his face.

Y/n always let the puppies wandered around the house every time Joker was out for a mission. All of J's henchmen knew about y/n's little secret, but no one says anything to the boss since they really like y/n. She saved their lives many time. When the Joker was angry and about to shoot them, y/n would step in and tried to talk J out of killing them, which actually worked since y/n was the only one J listened. So they thought they could do something for her in return, and by that, all the henchmen promised to keep her little secret with them. Some of them even helped her feed the puppies.
