Kageyama:
'He isn't coming to school.' The dark haired boy said to himself as he played with his food. Kageyama decided to eat lunch on the roof to avoid his teammates and have time to think.
'Could he really be sick? I left him on his own. Maybe he over worked himself.' He continued as he worried over his actions with Hinata.
"Ugh, I'm such a baka." Kageyama said out loud.
"I hope he's okay." He said placing his untouched food next to him.
"I'm sure he'll be fine." Said a familiar voice walking towards Kageyama.
Kageyama lifted his head up to see the team captain.
"Did something happen between you two?" Ennoshita questioned as he sat down next to Kageyama.
The dark haired boy remained silent.
Ennoshita sighs, "Look Kageyama, I know you keep to yourself a lot but there's no shame in talking to someone about an issue you're having. I'm not here to judge or criticize you. I'm here to offer an ear and lend you some help."
Kageyama looks at his captain and takes a deep breath before answering.
"I may have done something last night that may or may not have something to do with why Hinata didn't come to school today."
"Care to elaborate?" Ennoshita asks, slightly confused at what the dark haired boy is talking about.
Kageyama stares at his feet for awhile before finally deciding to tell the captain in full detail of what's been going on between him and Hinata the last couple days.
"And yeah, I don't know. I'm just so confused and worried and ugh. I don't know what to do. I feel like I'm going insane." Kageyama finishes as he looks away from the captain afraid to see his reaction to all the information he's just let out.
Ennoshita clears his throat, "Well that's a crap ton of information to take in." he says as he chuckles. Kageyama snaps his head back not expecting such a light reaction.
"You're not freaking out? Why?" Kageyama says looking questioningly at Ennoshita.
"In all honesty, I'm not all that surprised. At some point I felt like you two would eventually, you know, become an item." The captains says as he laughs nervously and scratches the back of his head.
"Like what do you mean 'an item'? Like dating? Two guys? Is that normal?" An overly confused Kageyama asks.
Ennoshita laughs, "Of course it's normal. Whether it be a boy and a girl or two boys or two girls. Dating someone you truly have feelings for is always normal. I mean take our old captain for example, Daichi and Suga have been dating for almost two years now. And it seems pretty normal to all the team."
Kageyama feels his jaw drop. "Daichi and Suga!?!?How come I'm only finding out now? Really!? Almost two years??"
"Hmm.. everyone else in the team knew so I assumed you as well had found out. It's not a secret or anything. Actually we were all kinda' surprised they didn't start dating sooner. A lot of us shipped them together." Ennoshita says slightly surprised at Kageyama's reaction.
"Sorry, I should've known." Kageyama says feeling guilty about not knowing.
"It's not something to be sorry about. It's not like I expect you to keep tabs on other people's love life." The captain says chuckling.
