Kageyama:
The rest of the weekend dragged and as Monday morning rolled around, Kageyama was feeling somewhat anxious as he checked his phone for the 100th time. Since Hinata left Saturday morning, that's all Kageyama continuously checked, in hopes that the other male would have sent him a message.
He groaned as he saw that he had not received anything. 'I don't want to pressure him but this shit is killing me.' He thought as he finished getting his things ready to head to practice. 'I have to maintain composure and not make him feel uncomfortable. Practice comes first for now.'
He grabbed a couple of snacks from the kitchen and shoved them in his bag before putting on his shoes and walking out the door.
Once he made his way to the school gym, he noticed that the gym door was already open. His heart began to beat a little quicker as he thought Hinata was already there and they'd be by themselves for a bit before anyone else showed up.
Kageyama hesitantly made his way to the entrance and peeked inside to look for the orange haired male. Much to his dismay he saw only Yamaguchi setting things up. Distracted by looking for Hinata, someone stands behind him and leans over to whisper in his ear.
"What are you looking at?" The sudden voice caused Kageyama to yelp. He turned to look up at Tsukishima, who was wearing a smug look on his face. "Aish, baka! You scared the hell out of me." Kageyama responded annoyed.
"Well perhaps you shouldn't be staring like a creep outside the gym." Tsukishima continued.
"I wasn't staring. I was just curious to know who was already here. I assumed Hinata's dumbass was already here. I didn't expect to see you two dorks first." Kageyama said, trying to explain himself. He walked into the gym with Tsukishima following behind him. Kageyama looked down at his phone to check the time, 6:25 am. "Why are you two here so early anwayway? You guys usually don't roll in for another 20 minutes." He asked as he looked between the two. Yamaguchi's face turned beet red as he looked away with a nervous laugh, meanwhile, Tsukishima smirked at the other males reaction.
"Oh no reason. We were just up early and figured we'd come here considering that most of us have keys to open the gym up anyway." Tsukishima shurgged. Kageyama looked at them slightly confused. 'Hmm... weirdos.' Not entirely convinced with four-eyes's answer.
A couple minutes pass by as another body enters the room while Kageyama is tying his shoelaces. He looks up and tenses up as he makes direct contact with a pair of brown eyes. "Hey Shōyō! How was your weekend?" Yamaguchi asked, breaking eye contact between them.
"Oh hey Yamaguchi! Hey Tsukki! My weekend was okay. How about you guys? Do anything fun?" Hinata greeted them in return. Kageyama watched their interaction and once again witnessed Yamaguchi's face flare up. Tsukishima placed a hand on Yamaguchi's shoulder. "It was great. Did plenty of fun things. Right Yamaguchi?" He asked the shorter male with a wicked smile on his face. "Y-yeah. It was, uh, a g-great time." Yamaguchi stuttered out with a nervous laugh.
Hinata looked between them and giggled. "Ohhh, I see. Glad you guys had fun." He responded with a wink which only further reddened Yamaguchi's face. Hinata seemed to understand something that Kageyama didn't. 'What the fuck are they talking about?' Confusion written all over his face.

Hinata:
Nerves coursed through Hinata's body as he locked eyes with Kageyama. 'Fuck.' Luckily for him, Yamaguchi called his attention to snap him out of it. As greetings were exchanged, he couldn't help but notice what Tsukishima was insinuating. As he read the situation, his comment and Yamaguchi's response only furthered his assumptions of the two males. 'They would make a great pair.' He giggled at Yamaguchi's embarrassment.
Hinata looked over at Kageyama once again and seeing the confusion on his face, Hinata could tell that Tobio had no idea what they were talking about. He walked over to set his things down and take off his sweatpants and sweater as he was already wearing the uniform under it.
Trying his best to calm his nerves, he greets Kageyama, who in return has been obviously staring at him. "Hey."
"Oh, uh, hey." Kageyama responded. "Um, how are you?" He asked. Hinata couldn't help but giggle at the other male. He could tell he was also very nervous.
"I'm good. Um, so about what you asked me Saturday...." Hinata whispered as he looked down at his fidgety hands. "I, uh, wanted to say yes to your date, I mean if you haven't changed your mind and are still up for it I mean." He babbled, anxiety spreading like wildfire. 'Oh god. Oh god. He's not responding.' He looked up from his hands to look at Kageyama. The other male's face in shock only made Hinata's anxiety worse.
"We don't have to or anything. I just thought I'd gi-" He tried to say before being cut off by Kageyama. "No!" He shouted, causing Hinata to flinch and making Tsukishima and Yamaguchi look over.
"Oh, my bad. I didn't mean to shout." Kageyama said to their teammates before putting his attention back on Hinata. "No, I mean yes! Fuck, sorry. I meant to say that's good. I still would like to take you out sometime." Kageyama clarified. Hinata smiled.
"Fun. Well we can plan on a day later. Is that good?" Hinata asked. He looked at Kageyama as he nodded his head in response. Before anything else could be said, more of their teammates began to walk in and he walked over to greet them with Kageyama close behind.

Question : will u do any other ships after Kagehina like Tododeku I'd love to see your take on that" Hmmmm... after KageHina, I haven't put much thought into another ship. Between this and doing another role play it's sorta' been my sole focus. I would love to however do another ship after this one. Just not sure of who yet? Tododeku sounds phenomenal. I'm also considering doing a spin off with Kenma and Kuroo because my baby Kenma DESERVES a happy ending. Or just a different storyline all together. Lmao 😂 too many ideas and not enough space in my head right now for them all. But I hope y'all stick around for the future madness of my fanfics/stories.
