Kageyama:
After a long week, it was finally Friday. Kageyama had already ungracefully talked to Hinata a couple days prior over the phone and asked him if he was comfortable going on a date the following weekend that they'd be in Tokyo. Once that was set, both males returned to their normal awkward dynamic.
Kageyama had been texting back and forth with both Daichi and Sugawara and they convinced him to go hang out at their place the following day so they could talk more about his and Hinata's date. He sat bored in his last class, waiting for the bell to release them for the day.
Time passed and soon enough the bell rang to signify the end of the school day. Students hurried to put their belongings away and rushed out of class, ignoring the last few words spoken by their teacher. Kageyama collected his things and made his way with a small farewell to his teacher. He wasn't in a particular rush since practice had been put off for the day due to the older teammates having an after school assembly.
Once reaching his locker, he felt someone walk up behind him but didn't bother looking their way.
"Yah, Kageyama. Are you heading home?" The voice belonging to Tsukishima as he too was collecting things from his locker which happened to be near Kageyama's.
"Yeah, why?" He asked.
"Just wondering, not often we get the afternoon off on a Friday. Are you hanging out with Hinata?" Tsukki asked, a smug look on his face. The question made Kageyama a little nervous.
"N-no, I'm not hanging out with him this weekend. Even if I was, it's none of your business." Kageyama answered defensively, only furthering Tsukishima's smirk.
"Mmmm... you're right. I don't really care. I just wanted to ask but your reaction tells me enough." He said.
Before Kageyama could answer, he heard Yamaguchi call out Tsukishima's name.
They both turned their attention to the other male as he approached them.
"Oh hey Kageyama. Are you heading out?" Yamaguchi asked.
"Mm." He answered, slightly annoyed with Tsukishima's previous comment, he looked between both males, "Are you guys hanging out this weekend?" He asked. Kageyama noticed as Yamaguchi's face slowly turned pink from what he could only assume as embarrassment.
"My parents are out of town this weekend so Tadashi here is gonna' come keep me company over the weekend. Right?" Tsukishima said as he gently placed his hand on Yamaguchi's lower back, making his already pink face turn into a tomato red.
Yamaguchi peeped out a small yes as he looked up at Tsukishima who's smirk was on full display and Kageyama watched as Tsukki's eyes grew darker while looking at the shorter male. The look on his face made even Kageyama's face grow a slight blush.
'Are they dating?' He asked himself. 'He looks like he's ready to eat Tadashi whole..." He continued as he shook his head before he spoke.
"Well I'm heading out. Have a good weekend."
Both Yamaguchi and Tsukishima placed their attention back on him almost as if they had forgotten he was there to begin with.
"Oh yeah, we'll be having plenty of fun." Tsukishima said, the smirk never leaving his face.
"B-bye K-kageyama. Have a good weekend." Yamaguchi also said, trying to keep his composure while saying his farewell.
Kageyama nodded in acknowledgement and walked past them, making his way out of the school building.
He sent a quick message to his group chat with Daichi and Sugawara.
hey do you guys think Tsukishima and Yamaguchi could potentially date?

Kageyama continued his walk home as he patiently waited for a response. A couple minutes later his phone vibrated and he looked down at his messages.
-DaiSuga 🖤🤍:
~D: Wait, they're not dating yet??
~S: Oh totally, Tsukki gives off BIG top energy. I'd be surprised if they aren't dating really.
Kageyama reread Sugawara's message and was slightly confused as to what he was talking about.
wait, what the hell is a top?

Not too long after they had responded.

~D: Aish. Suga has a big mouth sometimes. 🙄
~S: Fufufufu. We'll talk about it when you come over tomorrow! 😉
He replied a quick okay and by then had already made his way home. 'Should I look up what a top is?' He asked himself contemplating whether or not he should.
"Fuck it." Kageyama said out loud as he took off his shoes and threw down his things while making his way to his room to get to his computer.
He opened up a web page and thought about how he should search it up, after a few moments he typed in 'what does gives off big top energy mean?' Once clicking search his eyes widened at what popped up.
"What the fuck??"
