Kageyama:
As practice came to an end and the boys were changing into their school clothes, Kageyama walked up to the team captain.
"Hey captain, can I borrow you for a second? I just wanted to ask you something." He was a little nervous, Kageyama wanted to ask him about date activities, hoping that the older male would have more experience in this field considering that Kageyama had never been on a date before.
Ennoshita looked at him and smiled, "Sure thing Kags, just let me finish putting things away."
He looked over at Hinata who had finished getting all his things and was talking to Tanaka and Yu. The three boys made their way towards the exit of the gym. Kageyama's eyes stayed on the orange haired male, feeling his eyes on him, Hinata looked over and met his gaze giving him a soft smile before walking out. Tobio looked away slightly flustered. He looked over at Tsukishima who in return was watching him with a smirk plastered on his face.
'Shit.' Kageyama pretended to look around, trying to mask his embarrassment.
"Hey, are you ready?" Ennoshita called out as he walked back over to Tobio. "Yeah, let's go." He responded, making his way out of the gym avoiding eye contact with Tsukishima. Kageyama looked down at his phone to look at the time, they still had 20 minutes before they needed to go to class. They walked to a nearby vending machine to get something to drink.
"So what's up? What did you want to ask me?" Ennoshita asked while he looked at the drinks before selecting his choice. Silence sat between the two males as Kageyama looked at the ground trying to figure out how he wanted to form his question.
"Well uh, ummm, I uh-" The words having a difficult time coming out of Kageyama's mouth. The nervousness of the male made Ennoshita chuckles. "Kags, whatever it is, you can ask me without being so nervous."
With that Kageyama quickly blurted out, "What do you do on a date?"
Ennoshita's eyes widened at his question. Panicking at his captain's reaction, he tried to change the topic entirely.
"No no. Hold up Tobio. It's cool. I just didn't expect that kind of question out of you. Have you never been on a date?" He asked, surprised. Kageyama's face reddened as he shook his head in response to Ennoshita's question.
"Oooo... I see. Well, um, a date really depends on who you are going with. If you know them, then probably taking them somewhere you know they'll like is nice. Do you mind if I ask who it is?" He asked.
Kageyama's eyes remained on the ground as he contemplated whether or not he should say it was Hinata. This was all just so new to him and it made him very nervous. As a couple more minutes passed in silence, Kageyama let out a sigh, "My date is with Shōyō." If his face could go any redder, he'd be glowing. He slowly looked up at Ennoshita to see his reaction, wondering if he'd be weirded out by it but instead he looked at the big smile on the captain's face.
"Damn, about time." Ennoshita said. Shock clearly displayed on Kageyama's face. "Oh come on, we've talked about this before. It was only a matter of time before you guys finally stopped being dumb and acknowledged your guys' feelings. Although, it is still a little surprising. But nothing to be embarrassed about. It's cute." The captain continued.
"What does Shōyō like to do? Aside from eating and playing volleyball?" Ennoshita asked.
Kageyama looked at him straight in the eyes and bluntly stated, "Sleeping."
His answer causing Ennoshita to facepalm as he let out a nervous chuckle, "I can see that this may take a while. Look let's talk about this during lunch. We need to head to class soon."
"Okay." Kageyama answered, both males making their way into the school and departing to their respective classes.
"See you at lunch!" Ennoshita called out as he waved at Kageyama before running off to get to his class.

Hinata:
"So is there anything you want to tell us shortie?" Tanaka questioned. Him and Noya had been watching Hinata's and Kageyama's interactions and could tell something was up between them.
"What do you mean?" Hinata asked, trying to play it off.
"We mean, that you guys have been acting weird the last few times we've talked to either one of you and today-" Yu tried saying before getting cut off by Tanaka. "Do you guys like each other? Are you guys like a thing?"
The sudden question made Hinata stop in his tracks, "I, uh, I d-don't know what you guys are talking about."
Noticing the way his behavior had changed, Tanaka and Yu continued pushing the male for answers. "Why don't you wanna' tell us? You know you could talk to us about anything Shōyō. You're like family. And lately we feel like you're hiding things from us." Hinata looked at both males and could see the hurt in their eyes. He wasn't trying to keep them in the dark. Things were just complicated at the moment.
"Look guys. I don't know what's going on okay? It's not that I don't want to tell you guys it's just.... complicated right now." He said, hoping they'd drop the topic. The two males nodded at Hinata, unsatisfied with his answer but compliant for now.
"Fine." Yu started, "But please tell us when things are less complicated. We want to help if we can." Tanaka nodded in agreement as he added, "Yeah orange. I'm gonna' beat you if you don't tell us what's going on sooner rather than later."
Hinata giggled. "Yeah fine. We will talk about it eventually, just not right at this second. Can we go now? Class is gonna' start soon and I don't want to be late."
They continued to make their way to their classes and they waved each other off as they all had different classrooms to get to. Hinata felt his phone vibrate and he pulled it out as he walked to class.

He could tell that Kenma had been upset over the mess that had happened but Hinata felt as if there was more to Kenma's anger rather than just him getting wasted and spending the night at Kageyama's house. Yet he couldn't figure out where that anger had stemmed from. He didn't dwell too much on it as he knew class was soon to start and replied before he got in the room.

@findingconfidence "Did you model Hinata's and Kageyama's relationship and mannerisms off of a celebrity couple or a relationship you know of in your personal life?" Hmm 🤔 I haven't really based them off anyone in particular and just mostly going on a whim. As for their mannerism I'm trying to stay close to how they'd act in 'character' but at the same time obviously putting my own twist and emotions into it. It's been a journey and not everyone has liked how I've made them but at this point, oh well. I like them. Lol 😂
