Hinata:
The week passed by and soon enough their practice trip was the next day. Hinata put in his last outfit as he finished up packing his things.
"ONII-CHAAANNN" Natsu yelled while running into his room.
He rolled his eyes as he squeezed his sister's cheeks.
"Natsu, you yell loud enough for the whole block to hear you." He teased.
Natsu pouted, crossing her small arms over her chest.
"But onii-chan, you're leaving for the weekend and I wanted to go to the park with Tanaka and Noya-san." She whined.
"You're so mean to Tanaka. You don't even use an honorific on his name as you do Noya. Could it be you have a little crush on him?" Hinata asked as he giggled.
The little girl's cheeks turn a bright pink as her brother's words seemed to hit spot on causing a fit of laughter to erupt from Hinata.
"YAAAHHH ONII-CHAAANN!! Don't joke like that!! I don't know what you're talking about!!" Natsu screamed, only furthering Hinata's laughter.
Natsu stomped her feet in disapproval.
"Natsu, what's with all the yelling honey? The neighbors could probably here you." Their mother asked as she walked into the commotion.
"Okaasan! Oniichan is talking crazy! He said I could have a crush on Tanaka!" She said, in hopes her mother would back her up.
Their mother smiled, "But Natsu, I also thought that perhaps you liked him. There's nothing wrong with having a little crush. You always go on and on about him and—" But was cut off before she could finish.
"Okaasan. Shhh..." Natsu whispered, almost pleading with her eyes for their mom to stop talking.
Hinata and his mother giggled as they watched her little face get redder.
"Nevermind onii-chan, go on your dumb trip! I didn't want to go to the park anyway!" She claimed, as she stormed out the room.
"She's silly." His mom said, while redirecting her attention onto Hinata.
"Are you all packed for your trip?" She asked.
"Oh yeah. I made sure I had everything." Hinata answered, "And, uh, okaasan... Tobio is stopping by tomorrow morning to, uh, get me, and you know, talk."
She chuckled at his awkwardness, "Is there anything I should be worried about?"
"No! No, nothing like that... It's just—"
"Don't worry Shōyō, I won't say or show anything too embarrassing." She said, while cutting him off.
Hinata groaned, "Please just no baby pics yet or anything. It's like his second time coming here, it's too early for all that."
His mother laughed. She walked over to him and gave him a hug and a kiss on the head.
"Alright alright. I'll try to be on my best behavior sweetheart."
"Thank you okaasan. I love you."
"I love you too." She responded, releasing him from the embrace and making her way out of his room.
Hinata put his packed bag by his door and then proceeded to get his phone. After contemplating for a few minutes, he decided to send Kageyama a message.
-Hey, um, you're still coming over tomorrow morning right?
(Sent)
He sat on his bed as he waited for a response. Hoping he didn't seem pushy or anything over the text message. A couple minutes passed before his phone dinged, making him jump a little.
