Chapter 108

Moana's POV 

 Time Skip... Three months later... 

    Lana and Kano started dating a week ago. They're such a cute couple. As the teenagers say "I ship it so hard." They went on their first official date last night and Lana's been gushing about it ever since. It's absolutely adorable. Relationships always tend to feel magical when everything's fresh and new. Anyways, Lana and Kano went out to eat at our favorite Italian restaurant for their first date. Kano remembered her mentioning it to him in one of their conversations awhile back and thought it was a fitting venue for the date. They shared a heaping pile of spaghetti and meatballs and just got to know each other. I can't think of a better first date for two teenagers than that. Though Maui and I's first date as pretty magical. Not to brag, but just stating the truth. 

    I actually invited Kano over for dinner on Thursday, which is three days from now. I feel like it'd be nice for Maui and I to get know him as well. Sadly nowadays, most parents don't take any time to get to know who their child is dating. Kano's parents seem to agree because they want Moana to come over for dinner next weekend. She's nervous about meeting them, but I don't see why she should be. I mean she's Lana. Lana is a radiant, beautiful, smart, strong, funny, talented, and kind girl. Who wouldn't want Lana dating their child? I'm probably being biased. Oh well. 

Lana's POV

 Kano's coming over on Thursday for dinner to get to know my parents and I'm meeting his next week over dinner for the first time. I'm super nervous. I don't want to say or do anything stupid. I tend to do that a lot in front of people I'm comfortable with or people I'm trying to make a good first impression for. 

   I'm sure everything will fine though. I'm just overthinking as usual. It's a bad hit that I just can't seem to ever break. Just like biting my lip until it bleeds. That's another habit that quite frankly,  I could do without.
