Chapter 1

Love Birds

Ryan took my petite hand in his large one, and I looked up to see his warm smile. Ryan's soft twinkling blue eyes met mine, I blushed prominately at his adoring gaze.

You didn't even have to know us, to know that we were in complete and utter love.

Well, neither of us had told one another, which is kind of unnepected. But, Ryan was rather shy, I could still not believe he had waited a full year of wanting me and building up his courage to ask me out! But time had payed off, for our four-month annerversity was coming up quickly.

4 months. It was all coming so fast, and I smiled secretly to myself as I thought of the months we'd spent together. The days have rolled by quickly, and I was trying to get a grasp on everything. But I kept getting lost in those dreamily, perfect blue eyes.

Ryan stopped in front of his locker, still gazing down at me sweetly, with his lulling sparkly eyes. We were almost the same height, as he was taller then my 5.7'' by barely an inch.

My eyes were focused on his lips, and he chuckled softly. He leaned in and kissed me, I automatically moved closer to him, bringing us to lean against the lockers, not breaking the kiss

My hands tangled in his light blond hair, and I felt his arms wrap around my waist, pulling me closer. He tasted so sweet, like honey...

The sound of someone clearing their throat broke our kiss, interrupting my thoughts. I couldn't help it as I felt a pout spread across my tingling lips. I turned to see Adam smirking at me.

Adam had been my best friend ever since kindergarten, when I accidentally spilled my orange juice on him during snack time. It had spilt all over his shirt, and he had no choice but to change into my extra pink butterfly shirt. It's weird to think that we would be friends after that, instead of having a kindergarten war over orange juice.

Adam smirked at us. "Can I get to my locker, or do you two love birds need more time?"

I laughed as I saw Ryan blush furiously, I could also feelt heat rushing to my face. Ryan wasn't one for PDA, so as he was caught in the act I saw him gain emabrassment by the second.

"See you at lunch, Sophie" Ryan said softly, and he headed off into Ms.Rich's classroom. I couldn't help stare at his cute butt as he walked away, god he looked cute in his jeans!

Adam laughed softly at me again. I whipped my head around to face him, he was still smirking at me, showing his crooked white teeth.

"What?" I snapped. He shook his head gently, making his floppy dark hair flop over his elecetric blue eyes.

"Nothing" He said quickly. I wish he would wipe that damn smirk off his face!

I squinted my eyes at him. We knew each other so well that I bet I could guess what he was saying, sometimes we end up finishing each others sentences.

Adam was a really sweet guy, hard to get annoyed at him though. Which could get annoying. He had a cute face, which lost a lot of his boyish features over this year, he was almost.... sexy. But I had no interest of dating him what so ever. His dark brown hair flopped into his eyes a bit, which went well with his unforgettable bright blue eyes. Adam could probably get any girl he wanted, and he was still available, after a messy break up with Melissa.

My thoughts were interrupted by the loud alarm of the five-minutes-left-before-damn-school-starts-warning-bell. The bells in our high school were so loud that they could knock you off your seat, thats why there more then enough nurses in our school.

Adam saw my eyes widen in shock at the unusually loud bell.

"Like, ohmigosh, I only have, like, five minutes to do, like, my makeup before I get to class!!" Adam squealed in a fake high girly pitch.

I rolled my eyes at him, he was probably teasing me from when I was doing my makeup before first period when the bell made me jump and smudged my mascara all down my face and shirt. But that was in October, it was May now, he should get over these things.

Adam shut his locker and started walking next to me.

"We should hang out later or something." Adam said, casually. He fell in to step beside me. "You've always been either going out with Ryan, or your mouth has always been too busy so I can't talk to you." Adam pulled a slight pout, begging me with those eyes.

I bit my lip, I actually had planned to get ice cream with Ryan after school. I pondered on my options.

Adam seemed to read my guilty expression. "You already have plans with Ry-boo?" He said, wriggling his thick eyebrows.

I slapped his shoulder playfully. "Shut up, I guess I do have plans.." I realised that I have been spending a lot of time with Ry-boo to hang out with Adam.

"But I can cancel them, I'm sure he wouldn't mind." I added quickly. Adams eyes lit up. I smiled at him, Ryan will understand.

I hope.

"Great! So, I'll pick you up at seven, or do you need more time to get yourself dolled up?" He said, rolling his eyes at the last few words.

"I don't take that long! Plus that was only one time!" I remember the memory vividly, I said, smacking his arm.

"Wait," I added, "Where are we going anyway?" I asked. My eyes widened as he started grinning like a idiot, a mischievous look on his face, like a toddler stealing a cookie.

"We are going to a club, baby!" Adam shouted trimphantly like some drunk footballplayer.

My eyes widened, as my mind wrapped itself over Adam's hyped-up words.

Shit.
