Chapter 9
Working For a Jealous Boss
I started drumming my fingers across the desk, urging the clock hanging over the teachers head just to tick a little faster.
The teacher drowned on, I couldn't quite remeber if it was History class or English. The teacher was old and fat, a shine of sweat marked his bald-y old forehead.
I slumped in my chair, resting my head across the back rest. I stared at the ceiling, reeling back Katelyn's previous comment.
Marriage? Ryan hasn't even said I love you yet, so I would seriously doubt it.
As ten more minutes dragged by, I started to second guess myself. Ryan did seem that kind of guy, being all romatic and stuff.
Getting deep into thought, the bell finally rang, nearly pulling me out of my thinking. Everthing continued to sound distant, as I lefted the class slowly, biting my lip.
"Umm......... Sophie?" I heard from beside me. Turning around, I saw Ryan's adorably confused face. I immediatly relaxed, just being with him made me feel better.
"Yes hun?" I replied, stroking his cheek with my thumb gently. I watched him gently melt confortabley at my touch.
His face returned playfuly stern. "Did you hear anythig I just said?"
I shook my head, grinning up at him. He crossed his arms.
I pulled him into a kiss. Starting off gentle and light. But I let him deepen it, I wrapped my arms around his neck, and he looped his arms around my waist.
I heard some low wolf whistles from around us, and I smirked against his lips. He started kissing my jawline, and I tugged him closer. Suddenly, I wished we wern't standing in the school parking lot.
He pulled away, right when I was getting really into it. He chuckled, when he saw the slight pout that I couldn't hold back.
"Were in the middle of the parking lot." He pointed out, and I saw the slight bulge in his jeans.
Stiffling a laugh, I hopped into his car. I stared out the window, studying the sky.
The clouds had matted togheter, leaving a blank open white sky. Like a plain white canvas waiting for the artist to drag the paintbrush across it.
"You excited for Prom?" Ryan asked, and I saw excitement of his own bouncing up and down in his twinkling blue eyes.
"Of course" I admitted, fiddling with my hands, as I laced them togheter in my lap. I was thrilled to wear my dress, keeping it a secret was extra special.
"Great," Ryan said, nearly bouncing in his seat beside me. "I have alot planned, I mean, it will be fantastic....."
I watched him go on continueiously, loving the way his eyes danced as he spoke excitedly.
The car pulled into a parking space, infront of the Shopping Center. I planted a quick kiss on his cheek before tearing into the Mall, not looking forward to work.

My boss, was unexplainitorily terrible.
She just seemed to take pleasure in sabotaging all of us female workers. She was always flirting with the guys.
I stepped into the Mall's dimly lit, heavily perfumed Hollister, barely making it on time.
"SOPHIE! SOPHIE HAWKINGS!" My boss, Ashley screeched from across the store.
My head snapped up, internaly groaning as I saw her marching towards me, anger bubbled inside her pale blue eyes. Her red, hip length hair flew out behind her.
