Chapter 15
Bitch Daughter
"Where are we going?" I asked for the tenth time. I adjusted myself in the familiar leather seating of Evan's big black truck.
"Surprise." He said simply, and looked over into my eyes. I blushed under his adoring gaze.
"Eyes on the road you idiot!" I said, smacking him gently upside the head. He chuckled, and shook his hair out of his eyes.
"Soph. We arn't even driving any more." He said, an amused expression plastered on his handsome face.
I looked around, and I realised it was true. We were pretty much in the middle of nowhere. It was a small alleyway field type of thing.
"Oh." I said, and he chuckled. He opened the door, and swung his legs out before running to my side before I could unbuckle the seat belt. He opened my door and offered his hand.
"Why thank you." I said, in my attempted posh British accent, and took his hand and hopped out of the high-up truck. He lead me down the field, little blue flowers dotted the bright green grass, the sun dimming ever so slightly.
"This is beautiful." I said in awe. He chuckled.
"Hey, I can be romantic. But this isn't it." He said, tracing his finger along my jaw. I smiled up at him whilst we continued walking.
I stopped walking for a split second, letting him be half a step in front of me. I took this as the perfect opportunity to jump on his back.
"Rawr!" I shouted as I tangled my arms around his neck. But instead of toppling us both to the ground, he continued walking.
"Oh. Hey Soph!'' He said, looking back over his shoulder where I was resting my head.
"Hey Evan!" I said cheerfully and pecked him on the cheek. He chuckled deeply, sending butterflies fluttering in my stomach.
"Where are we going?" I asked, propping my chin on his shoulder as he continued to piggy-back me.
"Surprise!" He sang with a smile.
"Ooh! I love surprise! Don' tell me what it is!" I laughed happily like a school girl and covered my eyes.

"Were here!" He sang happily into my ear.
My attention sparked up, but I kept my eyes shut, wanting a complete surprise.
"Whoop!" I said in a deep voice, giving a small fist pump.
"OK. Now, keep 'em closed baby girl." He said gently in my ear as he set me down. I nodded, with my hands still covering my eyes.
He pulled my hand along a few steps, guiding me. I listened to my surrondings. It was quiet, with the calming sound of waves crashing.
"Open." He whispered into my ears. Ripples of delight washed through me. And I opened my eyes.
I was right about the waves I had heard, we were on top of a large, large, large flat rock a few feet above the sand, the ocean rolled waves across the sand gently. The sun was starting to set. It was beautiful.
"Wow." I wisperd. He laughed queitly and turned me aound.
Behind us, also setting on this rock was a beachy looking food place, the ones with the little counter and window.
"Hello. I'll have a medium fry and a chocolate milkshake." He said politely to the girl leaning out of the window.
He turned to me, questioningly.
