Chapter 8

Car Singing... Like A Boss

Lately, my plans have been rather repeatitive.

I wake up, go to school, then go out somewhere with either Evan, Ryan, or Adam and my friends.

But, that didn't stop me from going out with Evan tonight again.

I watched him pull into the driveway, and I was silently thankful that I had a good view of the parking lot of my apartement. Liz and Josh were sucking each others faces off. Seriously not a good sight.

Quickly, I snatched up my keys and headed out, closing the door before power walking down to the lobby.

I fumbled with the zipper of my jacket, trying to pull it up with out slowing my pace. As I was looking down, I crashed hard into a firm chest, sending me tumbling backwards.

Two strong arms caught me easily, wrapping around my waist. I looked up, and there was Evan smirking at me.

I crossed my arms, and stood there, waiting. His hands still encircled my waist. I felt little electric shivers shooting up my spine more then they should from his gentle touch.

I remained silent for a while, and I held his gaze, I felt the urge of a mile wide smile to spread across my face. I breathed in his scent, the smell of Axe, and a slight chocolate hint.

Evan kept my gaze, his eyes sparkling, the way I loved seeing them. The green of his eyes dazzled me. His hand slowly pulled the zipper up to my collarbone, and he tugged me along, his arm snaked around my back.

He opened the door for me, as I hopped in enthusiasticaly. It's the small things that he did that were the sweetest.

He started the car, I finaly broke the confortable silence.

"Any special plans tonight?" I asked, smiling. I pulled the seatbelt around me and clicked it in, very confortable to be in his car again.

He shook his head before repling. "I had nothing special planned. I just got off work and I couldn't think of anything we could do." He looked at me questionaly, asking me what I wanted to do.

I shrugged. Not really having an answer, I was tired from shopping all day and I could tell he was tired to. But I enjoyed his company. "Why don't we go to yours?" I said. "We could watch a movie."

His eyes twinkled, and the thought of cuddling up to him flashed across my mind, but I shook it off quickly.

"That sounds nice." He said. Smiling again.

Oh wow, I smile alot.

We drove in a nice silence for a while, and I turned on the radio. A song from One Direction came blasting from the speakers. I quickly jumped into the chorus.

"BABY YOU LIGHT UP MY WORLD LIKE NOBODY ELSE, THE WAY THAT YOU FLIP YOUR HAIR GETS ME OVERWHELMED. THE WAY YOU SMILE AT THE GROUND IT AIN'T HARD TO TELL. YOU DONT KNOW OH OH YOU DONT KNOW YOUR BEAUTIFUL." I shouted at the top of my lungs, a smile permentaly plastered onto my face.

Evan laughed, nearly falling over. "Wow. You are a really bad singer." He laughed. I shot him a fake glare. I continued the song, when Evan blared the words along with me.

"IF ONLY YOU SAW WHAT I COULD SEE, YOU'LL UNDERSTAND WHY I WANT YOU SO DESPERATELY, RIGHT NOW I'M LOOKING AT YOU AND I CAN'T BELIVE. YOU DON'T KNOW OH OH YOU DONT KNOW YOU'RE BEAUTIFUL. THATS WHAT MAKES YOU BEAUTIFUL!" We choursed together, before bursting into a fit of laughter. Evan sang so poorly.

"Wow, and I thought I was a bad singer!" I said between fits of more laughter.

He gasped, and clutched a hand over his chest. Faking hurt.
