I woke up to find that Bee had already left. I was a little disappointed because I wanted to wake up with her in my arms. I love that girl so damn much that it's ridiculous. I can't believe that I've changed so drastically from my old drug dealing ways. If my father could see me now he would be proud. I decided to call my mother because I haven't heard from her in a while. Before I could pick up my cell phone to call, I saw a note from Bee telling me that she was going to pick up some things from the store and would be back soon. I decided to text her first before I called my mom. It reads:
Hey baby. Just woke up and you weren't beside me. I miss you and I love you soooo much. Hurry home.

After sending the text message, I scroll through my contacts and dial my mother's number. After about three rings, she finally answers the phone.
Gloria: Hey baby. How are you?
Shawn: It's been forever ma. But I've been good. I see I got to pick up the phone and actually dial you to hear your voice.
Gloria: Don't get smart boy I'm still your mother. So how's everything?
Shawn: (Laughing) Everything is going good, especially me and Bee.
Gloria: I've never heard you talk so highly of a female. Is this love?
Shawn: (Smiling hard) Actually it really is ma. I love this girl with all my heart. I'm going to marry her.
Gloria: I'm sorry I haven't had a chance to meet her just yet. I've been so busy with my job and....
Shawn: Ma, Bee understands if no one else does. She is just as much as a hard worker as me if not worse. I actually think she's a workaholic.
Gloria: Really?? I can't wait to meet her. She sounds like a one of a kind young lady.
Shawn: She is ma. You just don't know and speaking of which she just walked through the door.
Bee slowly walks around the corner. She gives me a confused look and I just smile at her and lean down and kiss her.
Gloria: Let me talk to her.
Shawn: Ok. Hold on one second. Here she goes.
"Shawn who is that?" Bee asks me as she takes the phone out of my hand. I don't say anything; I just smile knowing that she is going to beat me up for this later. As Bee talks on the phone, I see her face go from one of panic to one of joy. Her and my mom seems to be really hitting it off. I sit back and can't help but smile at the two most important women in my life laughing and talking. Before she hangs up the phone, she asks my mother if she wants to speak back to me and she tells her no. Bee hangs up my cell phone and turns to me smiling.
