Chapter 41: That's How Strong My Love Is

Shawn's POV

I wake up feeling fully re-energized with a smile on my face. I look to my right and see Bee sleeping peacefully with one of her legs draped over mine. I laugh before gently moving it and sitting on the edge of the bed. I look over my shoulder at her and can't help but feel like the luckiest man in the world. My eyes travel over her body from her toes to her head before it travels to her wedding band. I rub my hands over my eyes and go into the bathroom. After I use the bathroom, wash my face, and brush my teeth I return to the bedroom to see Bee lying in the same position I left her in. I walk out of the room being careful not to slam the door before I travel to the mess that we left last night. I laugh as I grab my robe and pull it on before heading down the stairs. I grab my cell phone and decide to call Mama Tina while I make Bee a nice breakfast.

"Hi Mama Tina....how are you this morning?" I asked as I placed everything I would need on the counter.

"Hey Shawn I am doing well, I was just about to head down to the hospital to check on Solange. How's my baby girl?" Mama Tina asks as I bustle around the kitchen getting things underway.

"She is still asleep you know she isn't a morning person. She hates getting up unless she has to. I was calling to check in while I cook her some breakfast. But how's Solo and Juelz?" I ask while I fry the sausage and bacon and prepare to start the French toast.

"Yeah that girl hated getting up every since she was a little girl. I don't know how she has survived so long in the industry with all the early morning appointments. But yesterday Solo and Juelz were doing fine. Solange is just ready to come home and I can't blame her. Hospitals are awful. But Kelly and Michelle were supposed to visit so I assume they kept her busy." Mama Tina said as I heard her keys jingling.

"Oh ok then. Well I hear you picking up those keys so I will let you go mama. Give Solo and Juelz our love and we will be home within the next week or two." I said not wanting to hold Mama Tina up.

"Well I will possibly be back in Texas when you return to New York but I will visit shortly. Have fun....you are a married man now and once the baby arrives you and Beyonce's life are going to change. It's your honeymoon honey.....enjoy." Mama Tina said. I nodded my head in agreement.

"You are absolutely correct. I plan on making the most of this week or two that me and Bee have away. For once it's just the two of us with no problems. But give everyone our love and if you need us, we are only a phone call away." I said smiling and still cooking.

"Don't worry I won't call.....Lord knows what you two will be doing." Mama Tina said with a giggle which caused me to laugh.

"Love you Ma....bye." I said as I prepared to hang up my cell.

"Bye baby." Mama Tina said before hanging up the phone. I looked at the phone for a minute and laughed because she is a trip. I decided to finish breakfast and set it up on the isolated beach a few yards away from the condo. I finished making breakfast and looked back in satisfaction at the good job I had done. I made all of Bee's favorites: bacon, sausage, French toast, home fries, and scrambled eggs. I walked outside and set up our little private, intimate breakfast before fixing our plates and carrying them outside with two glasses of orange juice. After making sure everything was perfect I decided to go upstairs and wake up my angel. I climbed the stairs and entered the guest room to find her lying on her side with her hand cradling her growing belly. I looked at her affectionately before I sat on the edge of the bed beside her and gently caressed her face.

"Baby.....Beyonce wake up." I said as I kissed her lips gently. Her eyes slowly fluttered open before she smiled at me.

"Hey baby.....I'm sleepy." She said groggily before trying to turn her back to me and go back to sleep. I stopped her and laughed.
