It has been a good 2 weeks since me and Bee have been lying up in the hospital. I wanted to tell Bee about Lyndell and the baby once she was able to talk again, but Dr. Warren told me that it was too soon and that I should wait until we get home so that she will be in a familiar environment. It's finally the day that we both go home. I could have left 2 days ago but I didn't want to leave my angel so I just stuck around a little while longer to keep her company. Since the accident, I haven't felt comfortable leaving Bee alone. I looked at our hospital room for the last time as I walked out with Bee hand in hand. As we were about to get on the elevator, Dr. Warren walked up to me.

"Hope you and the lady a speedy recovery Mr. Carter. You have my number if you need me for anything." Dr. Warren said shaking my hand and giving me a pat on the shoulder. He waved at Bee and she gave him a smile.

"Thanks for everything Dr. Warren. You don't know how much of a live saver you were to me and Mrs. Carter during this whole incident." I said before I wrapped my arm around Bee's waist and pulled her closer to me.

"It's my job. Just wish I could have met you under different circumstances." He said before he walked away leaving me and Bee alone to get on the elevator.

"He's a really nice man." Bee said once we had gotten onto the elevator.

"Yeah he is." I said while I waited for the elevator to make it to the bottom floor. I have been acting a little weird towards Bee but everything has been weighing heavy on my mind. I don't mean to put a brick wall up to Bee but I don't know how else to handle it until I am able to let her know. I'm really nervous about the whole situation because I don't know how she is going to take it and I don't want her to feel as if I have been keeping it from her. It wasn't my choice.

"Shawn" Bee said motioning towards me to follow her off the elevator. I had been so lost in thought that I hadn't even felt the elevator come to a stop or hear Bee calling my name.

"Sorry baby. Let's get out of here" I said giving her a kiss on the forehead before grabbing her hand and walking towards a taxi.
