Beach

"How long do you plan on staring at me, Teddy?" I asked.

I was lying on my stomach with my head resting on my arms. My eyes were closed but I could still feel his gaze on me.
"I'm not staring," Ed protested and shifted next to me on the towel.
It has been forever since Ed and I went to the beach together, but today we decided to finally go. The weather was perfect and the beach was absolutely beautiful. Clear blue water, white clean sand and the best of all:

We've found a secret spot, so there weren't any other people around, just the two of us.

I opened my eyes, catching him before he could look away. "Gotcha," I smiled and looked up at him, using my hand to shield my eyes from the burning sun. He was lying next to me, his elbow holding up his head. The sun made his ginger hair look lighter and his freckles stand out.

"There's just something about you in this swimsuit that gets me really excited," he said, wiggling his blonde eyebrows. I giggled and playfully smacked his arm. "Ed, don't even start." 

He stuck his bottom lip out and whined. "Why not?" I just shook my head and closed my eyes again

"Ed!" I groaned, when I suddenly felt the weight of his body on my back. "Get off me! You're heavy!" Of course he didn't listen but instead lowered his head to my ear.

"Baby, I got sand in my pants," he whispered.

"You're such a dork!" I laughed and reach behind me to pull at his hair. He wrapped his arms around us, rolling us over so that now, I was lying on top of him and facing him. He had a grin on his face and I leaned down to close the space between our lips.
"I don't know about you but I'm actually melting. Wanna get cooled of a bit?" I asked after pulling away from the kiss.

"Sounds good to me," he replied and let me get up. I offered him my hand and helped him to get up. He turned around, offering me a piggy-back. "Let's have some fun in the water!" he announced. Giggling, I climbed onto his back and wrapped my arms around his sweaty neck.

He carried me towards the water and once me made it to the sea he slowly walked in, with me still on his back. He continued to walk in deeper until I could feel the cold water touching my feet. Ed started to sink down, covering us both with water. "Yes," I sighed, "That feels so nice."  He let me down on my feet again but I immediately wrapped my legs around his waist. He chuckled and his hands went around me, holding me up by my bum.

"You know what? I've never had an underwater kiss."

I tilted my head to the side, looking into his eyes that reminded me of the sea. "Me neither."

A grin spread accross his face."Wanna try it?" I nodded and smirked. "Hold your breath then, Darling."

I did as he said and took a very deep breath before he dunked us both under the water. I let my eyes stay closed as his lips touched mine softly. I felt his fingers on my cheek, touching the soft skin.
We stayed like this until my lungs were burning and screaming for air. I gasped once I've reached the surface and coughed a bit.

"Everything alright?" Ed asked, flipping his hair out of his eyes. I nodded and swam over to him. He once again took me into his arms and placed a kiss on my forehead.
"Best first underwater kiss ever," he said.

"Indeed. I love you," I said softly.

"Love you more. Can we go back to the house now and uh...take a shower?" he asked, trying to sound innocent.

"Edward Christopher Sheeran! You're impossible!" I laughed and pushed his head underwater.
