Morning

I let out a small groan as the sunlight touched my face. I pulled the blanket up to my face to shield myself from it and get an extra five minutes of wonderful sleep. But the sun seemed to be in an awfully bright mood today.
I grumbled as I sat up straight. Yawning, I rubbed my eyes, still not completely awake. I wasn't a morning person. But that was one of the many things Ed and I had in common. We both believed that the world would be a better place if someone made that time in the morning illegal. Speaking of Ed: My eyes fell on the readhead fast asleep on the other side of the bed. His pink lips were slightly parted and he was breathing peacefully.

I smiled at the sight of him. After so much time I was still not used to the feeling of waking up with him by my side. I ran my fingers through his soft hair once before getting down from our warm and comfortable bed. I made my way to the bathroom where I brushed my teeth and freshened up a bit. As I went back to the bedroom to pick out my clothes for the day, I found that Ed was still fast asleep.

I remembered him having told me about an interview he had this morning at ten. A glance a the clock on my nightstand told me that it was already quarter past nine. I quickly pulled the white sundress I'd decided to wear over my head. Then I went over to the bed and sat down on the edge, putting one hand on Ed's shoulder to shake him lightly.

"Ed, wake up. You'll be late for this interview thing," I tried to wake him but he didn't even move. I rolled my eyes at him and poked his scruffy cheek a few times. This time he turned to face me, groaning slightly.

"Let me sleep. I'm so tired," he mumbled in his raspy morning voice. I crossed my arms in front of my chest and raised an eyebrow at him.

"How long did you watch TV after I've went to bed, yesterday?"

"Dunno, long?"

"Then it's your own fault that you're so tired now."

He didn't answer but just rolled over on his back in attempt to go back to sleep but I wouldn't let him get away that easy.

"Don't even think of it, boy," I said smirking as I climbed on the bed to sit in his stomach, my legs wrapped around his waist. He let out a not so amused huff that quickly turned into a quiet moan as I bent down to brush my lips over his neck. I placed my hands on his chest. "Get up, Ed, " I ordered.
I could see the grin starting to form on his lips, his eyes still closed. He didn't answer but instead grabbed my wrists and turned us over with one swift move, so that he was on top now.

I giggled as he pinned my wrists above my head but he quickly shushed me by letting his lips meet mine. When I felt him trying to lift up my dress a bit I broke away from the kiss. I shoved away his hands before climbing down from the bed, sticking my tongue out to him.

"You wish, Teddy."

"You're such a tease," he grumbled and reached out for me, grabbing my wrist to pull me back to bed. I spotted the many pillows on my side of the bed and quickly grabbed one, hurling it at him to make him let go of my hand. It hit him in the face, leaving him startled. I tried to hold it back but I broke out into laughter by the confused expression he was wearing. It took him a moment to recover before he narrowed his eyes at me, flashing me a smirk.

"A pillow fight? Alright, don't say I didn't warn ya." He quickly grabbed the pillow under his head to swing it at me. But I was prepared and ducked down, avoiding his attack.

"You got to be faster, old man," I laughed.

He rolled his eyes. "Don't blame me,
it's too early for anything."

"But it's never to early for an interview," I said, grabbing his hands and pulling him up from the bed.

"I thought you hated getting up early. Why are you so happy?"

"I hate being late, Ed," I explained and playfully hit his houlder. "Come on, now. You still have to shower and get dressed."

"When I'm prime minister I'm for sure going to make this time in the morning illegal," he groaned.

I wrote this at three in the morning and my brain couldn't think of anything better. *~*
