"I wish we could stay here forever, Teddy," I sighed while tracing my fingers across Ed's colourful chest. "I love your parents' house. It's always so calm and peaceful here."

"I know," he mumbled and snuggled me closer, trapping me between his warm body and the orange painted walls of his old bedroom.

Visiting Ed's parents during the summer months always was like a mini holiday. They still lived in Framlingham, in the same house where Ed and his brother Matthew had spent their childhood days. Framlingham was a lovely little town and I could fully understand Ed's love for it. And the Sheeran's house; it was the perfect place to forget about the rest of the world for a couple of days. Imogen and Jon were one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure to meet. I just really loved spending my summer with Ed's family.

"When did your mum say dinner would be ready?" I asked as my growling stomach reminded me that I hadn't eaten almost all day.

Ed just shrugged his shoulders, and keept his eyes closed. "Don't know. Eight, I guess."

"Well, what's the time then?"

He shrugged again. "Don't know."

"Do you know anything at all?" I laughed and tried to sit up in order to grab my phone from the nightstand and check the time.

"No, stay here," he grumbled with furrowed eyebrows and tightened his hold around my waist, keeping me from wiggling free. Sighning, I gave in and let myself sink back against the warmth of his chest.

"Why are you so grumpy, Teddy?" I asked and reached out my hand to brush a few loose strands of his orange hair from his forehead.

"I'm not," he protested and wrapped his fingers around my wrist, pulling my hand away from his face. "I'm just tired from driving, that's all."

I raised my eyebrows at him as an amused smile started to form on my lips. It definitely wasn't a long drive from London to Framlingham. "Tired? It had only taken us two hours to get here. There wasn't even any traffic. What are you tired from?"

His blue eyes flew open and I chuckled as I noticed the adorable, slight pink blush on his cheeks. "Hey, stop making fun of me! It's been a long day," he pouted, looking at me reproachfully.

"Aww, my poor baby, come here," I playfully cooed and cupped his face between my small hands, his light stubble tickling my skin. I turned his face towards me and lifted my head to give him two short pecks on his soft lips. However, as I pulled back, his hands found their way around my waist again and he managed to pull me on top of him, making me squeal quietly. He used his fingertips to run them across my naked skin, where my shirt wasn't covering my body. It tickled lightly and I squirmed a bit. He smiled up at me before gently pulling my head down for a proper kiss.

I let my forearms rest on the side of his head, my fingers tangled in his silky hair, as I let him kiss me slowly. A slight gasp left my mouth as he gently bit my lower lip. "If just my parents weren't home," he murmered against my lips while moving my shirt further, over my ribs. "Well, we could be very quiet and-"

"Don't even think about it, Teddy," I laughed and put my hands over his to stop him. "Your parents are downstairs and I'm pretty sure they're not deaf."

"But what about later, when everyone's fast asleep?" He was begging and trying to win me over with his pleading eyes but I just rolled mine at him.

"No, Ed!"

"But-"

This time it wasn't me who cut him off. It was Imogen, his mum, calling from downstairs. "Alice! Eddy! Dinner's ready!"

Ed groaned and used his hands to cover his face in embarrassement. "Why does she keep calling me that? She knows how much I hate that nickname."

"Aw I think it's very cute, Eddy-Teddy," I teased and squeezed his cheek.

"Stop it!" he cried and swatted my hand away.

I laughed at him before climbing off of him and throwing him one of his shirt, which he'd carelessly left on the floor together with the rest of his clothes. "Come on, up you go. I'm starving."

I impatiently watched him as he pulled the shirt over his head, covering the countless tattoos on his chest and shoulders. I grabbed his hand and pulled him through the door and down the stairs, into the kitchen where John and Imogen were waiting for us. The table was already set and my mouth watered as my eyes fell on the delicious food on our plates. I smiled and thanked Ed as he gentlemanly pulled out a chair for me before sitting down beside me.

"I hope you're hungry," Imogen said with a warm smile on her lips. Ed's mum had an everlasting smile that had the power to brighten everyone's day.

"Very," I nodded and returned the smile . "I'm actually starving."

"Well, dig in then!"

-------------------------------------

Imogen's cooking skills didn't disappoint me and a short time later, after clearing the table and washing the dishes, we all went to the living room, feeling full and satisfied.

I settled next to Ed on the sofa across from his parents. His arm went around me and he pulled me closer to him, using his thumb to gently caress the naked skin on my shoulder.

"What have you guys planned for tomorrow?" John asked and leaned back, putting his hands over his stomach.

"Ed's gonna take me to the castle," I told him and snuggled up against Ed's warm body. "It's been awhile since we've last been there."

"The castle on the hill?"

"The one and only," Ed smirked.

We chatted for another twenty minutes and I started to get very sleepy. I tried not to yawn and leaned my head onto Ed's shoulder.

"Are you tired, Honey?" he asked, not bothering to hide his amusement.

I nodded and this time, I couldn't hold back the yawn that was escaping my lips. "But what are you tired from? It only was a two-hour drive," he playfully mocked me.

"Shut up, Eddy," I mumbled and stuck my tongue out at him.

He laughed quietly and brushed his lips over my temple, sending goosebumps through my body. "Do you wanna go to bed then?"

I nodded again and he turned his head back to his parents. "Do you mind if we go to bed now? We're both really tired."

Imogen shook her head. "Not at all! It's been a long day, get some rest kids."

"Great." Ed got up and offered me his hand, helping me up as well. We waved and exchanged goodnights but before we could leave for the stairs Ed's mum stopped us.

"Leave the door open, Edward!"

"Mum!" Ed cried and blushed for the second time today. "We aren't kids anymore! You can't tell us to keave the door open!",

"My house, my rules." she stated and crossed her arms.

"But-"

"Come on, Teddy," I giggled and tugged at his hand. "She's right. Her house, her rules."

"How am I supposed to survive the next two weeks?" Ed groaned as I dragged him upstairs back to his old bedroom.
