He couldn't keep still and has been bouncing his legs up and down, for the last few minutes.
"You okay?" I asked, giving him a quick glance before focusing back on the road. Ed shook his head.
"I don't want to go," he whined.

A few days ago, he had started to complain about a pain in his mouth that wouldn't go away. He went to the dentist, coming back with the news that his wisdom teeth needed to be removed as soon as possible. I immediately had scheduled an appointment for him, ignoring his desperate tries to keep me from making one. From that moment, he's been complaining day and night about how he didn't want to go and how cruel I was for dragging him to the procedure. But we both know that it had to be done.

"Ed, you'll be fine. I had to go through the same thing and I'm still breathing," I reassured him. He didn't respond but just kept bouncing his legs.

We soon arrived at the oral surgeon's. After cutting the engine, I got out of the car, glacing over my shoulder to make sure Ed did the same. He was staring at the building in front of us, probably thinking of a way to escape.
"Ed?" I asked, catching his attention and holding out a hand for him. "Come on." He slowly walked over to me and grabbed my hand, lancing our fingers.

Once we were inside I told him to go sit in the waiting room while I checked him in. There was some paperwork to fill out before I could join him. He immediately shifted closer to me and took my hand once I sat down beside him. "Don't make me do this," he pleaded, looking at me with big, desperate eyes.

"But Ed, it's necessary and you'll feel so much better afterwards."

"But I'm scared," he admitted quietly, looking down at his lap.

"Oh Teddy, " I said softly, turning towards him so that I could  wrap my arms around him. "Please believe me when I say it's going to be fine. Yes, it will hurt afterwards but I'll be there for you, okay?"

He didn't really look convinced.

"Think of all the ice cream you'll get to eat," I tried again.

"Ice cream?" he perked up.

"As much as you want," I smiled and gently kissed his cheek.

"Edward Sheeran." Ed immediately tensed up by the voice of the nurse calling us, and he kept a tight hold on me.

"We have to go, Baby," I said, pulling him up from the chair and following the blonde nurse into the dentist's room. She quickly got him all settled before leaving us alone to wait for the anesthetist.

"Alice," Ed croaked out, looking even more nervous than before.

"Don't be scared, Teddy. It's all good," I whispered, running one hand through his soft hair to calm him down a bit.

A few minutes later we were joined by the anesthetist and the nurse from before. "I have to go now, but I'll be here when you wake up, okay?" He just nodded. " You can do it. I love you," I said and placed a soft kiss on his forehead.
"L...love you, too," he mumbled.
I squeezed his hand one more time, before leaving his side and the room.

The whole procedure took about an hour. I was waiting in the waiting room until they told me I could see Ed now. As soon as I entered the room, I saw the huge smile on his face.
"Hey, Teddy. How are you feeling?" I asked as I walked up to him. All he did was giggling. "You're pretty."

"Thank you," I laughed and put my arm around his shoulder to help him up.

"He's going to be like this for the next three hours," the blonde nurse informed me, holding back an amused smile. "That'll be interessting," I smirked.

After thanking everyone we were ready to leave. On our way home, I picked up Ed's medicine and plenty of chocolate ice cream. Once we reached the house I helped him out of the car and into the living room, where I forced him to lie down.

"I don't wanna sleep, that's so boring," he complained, slurring his words a bit. "I want my guitar."

"No Ed, you need rest. And you need to take these," I said handing him two pills and a bottle of water to swallow them with. He shook his head. "I don't want them." I groaned.

"If you don't take them now, you'll regret it afterwards."

He pouted a bit but eventually took his medicine like a good boy. "Can I have my guitar now?" he asked.

"Nope, you're going to close you're pretty eyes now and sleep," I ordered.

"But-"

"Ah ah ah," I shushed him. "Don't even try to argue."

He glared at me for a moment. "Fine, but you should know, that I think that you are a really mean girl," he grumbled and pulled the blanket I've brought him up to his chin. I laughed and brushed a few orange strands out of his face, before gently kissing his forehead. "I know."

Two hours later he woke up.  "Alice," he groaned. I put the book, I've been reading while he's been asleep, aside and quickly kneeled down in front of the sofa. "What is it, Teddy?"

"My face, it hurts so badly. Can I have more medicine?"

"I'm so soory, but it's too early to take more. I can get you ice cream instead, or an icepack?"

"No." He grabbed my wrist tightly, keeping me from leaving.

"No?"

"Please stay here and love me."

I smiled lightly and carefully helped him to sit up so that I could settle behind him. I wrapped my arms around Ed's warm body and let his head rest on my chest

"Your boobs are always so comfortable. The best pillow one could have," he sighed.

I laughed loudly at his comment and set my chin on top of his head.
"Well, I'm glad they're helping you to feel better then."

I've caught the worst cold ever ugghh I wish Ed was here to make me feel better °-°
