"So the date for the wedding is in April next year?" Hiashi asked Hinata and Naruto over dinner at the Hyuga mansion...
Hanabi gave a huge grin to her elder sister while Neji just gave a cold stare at Naruto. Naruto swallowed his saliva nervously as Hinata sighed at her sister's and cousin's antics.
"Well, I must say this is sudden..." Hiashi continued after a nod from Hinata.
"Hiashi sama! Aren't you gonna at least protest?? They've only been dating for 10 months!" Neji spoke.
Hiashi sighed as he turned to Neji.
"Hinata is a 25 year old lady. She can decide for herself what she wants. Besides, she's not marrying some Tom Dick or Harry." Hiashi defended Naruto.
Naruto was surprised to say the least and he bowed his head to Hiashi as a sign of respect.
"I promise I won't do anything stupid! I will take care of Hinata chan and will never leave her side!" Naruto said confidently and Neji's stance relaxed.
"Take care of Hinata... Uzumaki... Naruto..."Neji said softly as the blonde raised his head and gave a bright smile to everyone in the room...
