Part 35 - They Find Laxus

Reader spots the thunder legion setting up the cookout.
"Here she is with the good stuff." says Bixlow.
"Took you long enough." says Evergreen.
"Sorry, I couldn't find the special bread Freed asked for. What's up with this bread?" says reader putting the bread down.
"It's the kind of bread Laxus will only eat." says Evergreen.
Reader is surprised.
I bought him bread the other day and he made sandwiches for us and we ate together. It wasn't this type of bread. Reader thought.
"Oh, that's cool." reader said.
They start to cook and set things up until a big lighting strikes hit near the forest. It was sunny out, so it had to be Laxus.
"Was that Laxus?" asks Freed.
There goes his secret. Reader thought.
"Let's go!" says Bixlow.
They start running and reader is still standing there.
"What about the food?!" yells reader.
They still continue to run.
"Ugh, fine. Hold up!" says reader as she runs after them.

They see Laxus standing there with Natsu and Gajeel. They probably seen his magic too. Reader thought.
"Laxus!" yells the thunder legion.
Laxus turns to look at them.
"Seems he's not alone." says Freed.
"What's going on?" asks Bixlow.
"There's nothing going on is there?" says Laxus looking back at Natsu and Gajeel.
"You've been living in the woods this entire time?" asks Natsu.
"I travelled around quiet a bit, but I've been here awhile." says Laxus.
Reader doesn't say anything cause she's been visiting him lately.
"If you're this close, you should just come back to the guild already." says Gajeel.
"Why's that? You missing me?" asks Laxus.
"I don't care give a crap if you come back or not. Since you're here, I think we should throw down and see who comes out on top!" says Natsu.
"Sounds good to me." says Gajeel.
"They can be an idiot sometimes." Reader whispers to Evergeen.
Evergreen nods in agreement.
"Tch. You guys really want me to take the bait don't cha? You wanna go and get me all riled up and ready to fight. Well I got better things to do." says Laxus as he turns around to walk away.
"Like run away?" asks Natsu.
"What?" says Laxus.
"You've never then type of guy who'd back down from a challenge. So what are you scared of?" says Natsu.
Then Laxus looks at reader and he feels that statement applies to her. Why am I scared to go after her? I should just go for what I want.
Reader is looking back at Laxus and wondering what he is thinking.
"You'd be wise to mind your tongue, Natsu." says Freed.
Laxus looks back at at Natsu and Gajeel.
"Okay, fine." says Laxus.
"Now that's more like it!" says both Natsu and Gajeel.
"Sorry but you ain't laying a finger on him." says Bixlow.
"You'll have to go through the thunder legion." says Evergreen.
"Hey! You guys are suppose to be my bodygaurds!" says reader.
"No, I'd actually love to teach these two clowns a lesson all by myself." says Laxus "alright Natsu, guess you're first in line."
Both Laxus and Natsu start powering up.
Reader spots Wendy.
"Wait, hold on!" yells Wendy.
Laxus and Natsu stop.
"What for?" asks Natsu.
"If you guys are gonna go through with this you guys gotta make it a special occasion." says Wendy.
"I don't follow." says Natsu
"What are you talking about?" asks Gajeel.
"The match will take place tomorrow!" says Wendy.
"Ok of you insist, have it your way. I can wait till tomorrow to kick his butt. Meet me tomorrow under the big solo tree in Southgate park!" says Natsu.
"Sounds like a plan to me." says Laxus as he turns around.
Wendy looks nervous.
Laxus keeps walking and the thunder legion follow him.
"Let's go (Y/N)." says Evergreen.
"Hold on. I'll be right with you." says reader.
Reader stays behind and talks to Wendy.
"I never knew you wanted to see a fight happen before." Reader says to Wendy.
"I don't."
"What was that about then?"
"I gave them time to cool down, so they won't fight. I seen the way you knocked down Natsu, I don't think he'll be able to handle Laxus as well." says Wendy.
"Haha yeah true. I don't think they should fight either."
"Let's get out of these woods, Wendy." says Carla.
"(Y/N)!" yells Bixlow.
"Looks like our parents are picking us up haha. I'll see you around Wendy." reader says as she turns around.
"See you!" says Wendy smiling.
