It was a new school term, it was also after Aria had found out about the book, but Ezra was still teaching at Rosewood high as science teacher. Aria and her friends walked into class and sat where they wanted to, it was not like the teacher would care. 10 minutes after the rest of the students had sat down, the teacher walked in. Aria and Spencer were sat on their phones with their backs to the teacher's desk, and Hanna and Emily were sat opposite them, in complete view of it. Hanna looked up as the teacher walked in and gasped.
"What is it?" Emily asked as Spencer and Aria couldn't hear her.
"Look at the desk" Hanna said, looking straight down at the table. Emily glanced up and saw the one and only Ezra.
"Aria, don't be mad" Emily said whilst Aria looked up at her.
"What, why would I be ma......" Aria began, until she was interrupted by the teacher, where she looked Emily in the eye, she knew it was Ezra.
"Welcome class, to the new term, please can you open your books to page 253, we will start this term with balancing equations" Ezra said, not noticing Aria was in his class.
"I thought he left...for good" Spencer said, making sure Aria didn't turn her head.
"Aria, try not to turn your head, let's see if you can get through this lesson then we will go to the principal after okay?" Hanna suggested, Aria agreed as they began their work. After half an hour Aria needed help.
"Spencer help me, I don't get this" Aria asked pointing to the equation. Spencer looked confused which was bad as then Aria would have to ask Ezra for help.
"I...erm....don't understand it actually" Spencer replied confused. Hanna glanced over and noticed the equation, everyone thought Hanna was the dumb one but she was just as smart as Spencer.
"You have to make each H, 6 so times them by each other and because N and H are bonded you have to times N by 2 both sides as well. And then the Oxygen by 3 and 2 to make 5 then half to get 2.5 O, so the total would be 2NH3+2.5O2=2NO+3H2O" Hanna said not looking them in the eye, they were all shocked at what Hanna had just done. After a few minutes of conversation of it, Ezra began to walk over.
"Red alert" Emily said looking at Ezra then at her work quickly as the girls went quiet.
"How are you guys getting on?" Ezra asked hesitantly. Aria turned her head away from Ezra and looked at Spencer. She looked at her, and told her to send him away with her eyes.
"Fine" Hanna said as she took a deep breath. Ezra stood by the table for a while until Emily spoke up.
"Ezra, we don't want you here" Spencer said harshly. Ezra looked at them all and then round to Aria before walking off.
"Thank you, I told him I never wanted to see him again, but here he is" Aria said, Ezra heard and stopped in his path fiddling with his pen, as he looked down at the ground, hearing Aria say this, was like him being shot again...just in the heart.
As the lesson ended, Aria and the girls packed their bags quickly and began to walk out after everyone else, when they heard Ezra.
"Aria, can I see you for a minute?" He asked, Aria stopped and looked at the girls, she knew she had to tell him to leave, but they wanted to go to the principal.
As it was the end of the day the girls began walking outside, when they heard Ezra lock his door, they all looked over. Aria kept looking at him as he walked out the door, they looked at each other until Ezra walked past the girls and towards the car park where he had parked his car. He glanced back at Aria, who was now stood up, with her friends they were walking towards the front gate. He missed her so much, but she didn't want him.
