Aria stood in the mirror, fondling with her graduation gown before her friends came running up the stairs to pull her away into the car to travel to the auditorium. However, during the trip everyone had their dates and boyfriends and Aria was sat in the back...alone, Ezra had skipped town a couple of nights before aware of her graduation.
"Aria, is Ezra coming?" Hanna asked.
"Erm...I'm not so sure" Aria replied, looking at her reflection in the car window. As they arrived at the auditorium, the girls stepped out of the car, and walked arm in arm into the hall, where they took their seat. They were all so relieved that they were allowed to attend their graduation after the terrible year involving 'A'. The principal began his long speech and list of names, but the girl because confused when their names weren't called but were shocked at what happened next.
"Before, we throw our hats in the air, we have 4 more graduates to congratulate this fine evening, they have suffered an unbearable senior year at Rosewood High, but still managed to hold their heads up high every single day. Please put your hands together for Aria Montgomery, Emily Fields, Hanna Marin and Spencer Hastings." The crowd started applauding as the girls walked up onto the stage to receive their certificates. They stood on the stage accepting their awards, before returning back to seats. Finally, the principal announced what the students call the best part, throwing their hats in the air.
As the began to walk out Aria was not able to stop look around for Ezra, hoping her would be there.
"Aria, are you okay, you seem a bit tense today?" Spencer asked, turning Aria around, trying to hide who was stood behind her with flowers.
"Yeah, I'm fine" Aria said, trying to hold back her tears, she was distraught that her own boyfriend would skip town just before he graduation, but what Aria didn't know was that the group, including Caleb and Toby, knew what Ezra was doing. He was trying to find a place for Aria and him, somewhere they could go to after her graduation.
"Are you sure, you can't stop looking around" Spencer replied.
"Yep, I just miss Ezra, that's all, I was hoping he would come" Aria said disappointed. Spencer locked arms with her and turned her around, where Aria was shocked, she began crying as she stepped forward jumping into Ezra's arms.
"Hi, I thought you skipped town for the week?" Aria asked, as Ezra lowered her, still holding onto her hands.
"I left...to find this for us" Ezra replied handing over an envelope, with 2 plane tickets and a hotel card.
"Ezra....you didn't..."Aria began, Ezra tucker some of her hair behind her ear.
"Yes, I did, after everything, we are leaving" Ezra said, Aria stood of her toes and reached up placing her lips on Ezra's.
"Miss Montgomery!" A stern voice shouted from the distance. Aria turned around holding Ezra's hand.
"Aria, no matter what happens, I love you" Ezra said, holding her hand tighter, Aria smiled back at him before turning around to face...........Principal Hackett, whose face was filled with fury.
