It had been 1 year since Aria left for college, she decided to transfer to UCLA for art academics which meant having to travel further away from Ezra. Most of her summers consisted of parties, getting drunk, having drunk sex with guys in bathrooms and finding new love which almost burned out instantly because they were never Ezra, she missed him.
After months of trying Byron and Ella finally convinced Aria to return for a weekend stay and when she arrived Mike convinced her to join him for a class at Hollis for some bonding time. They walked into the classroom and sat down at the back near a door when the professor walked in, he placed his briefcase down before he began talking.
"Good morning class, please take out your books and turn to page 126...start making notes on why Romeo and Juliet lied to be together...we will discuss in a minute after Ben collects them" The professor said, Aria knew that voice. It was Ezra. Her Ezra. She instantly looked at Mike knowing this was set up, she took his pen and wrote a note before Ben collected it as part of the class notes, she then quietly slipped outside the back door they were sat next to un-noticed from Ezra.
He picked up a random note and began reading it aloud to the class, he had grown a beard and become depressed ever since Aria left him. His whole class knew about her and what he wanted between them, they were like his therapist.
"True love is measured by how deep you fall. And judged by how low you are willing to crawl. Just to save it and make it last. It is determined by how willing you are to open up and offer your trust." Ezra said slowing down towards the end before slowly looking up and asking who wrote it.
"Who wrote this?" Ezra asked, looking around. Aria was stood leaning against a pole just outside the door.
"I did" Aria replied, staring into his eyes smiling slightly. Ezra was shocked at what he was seeing, he never thought he would see her again let alone in a classroom. He quickly placed the note down before walking over to her all the students were shocked as well, they had always wanted to meet her. When Ezra reached Aria he gently pulled her to him and moved his hands carefully up and down her arms.
"Aria, I love you...and I....I don't want to ever leave you" Ezra said, with Aria beginning to cry before she reached up onto her tip toes and kissed him placing her hands onto his checks, when she pulled away she stayed close to his face they both laughed whilst staring at each other as his class applauded.
