‘Girls!!’ Tony shouted up to me and Tora who were in our rooms. I had been packing my small black leather rucksack for the journey ahead. Let’s check-
· A bottle of water (although I’m sure they have water is Asgard, but I know what my dad is like…)
· My Starkphone
· Camera
· A scarf and a black foldable raincoat
· A Swiss army knife because my dad wants me to protect myself, but the Asgardians might see me as a threat.
And with that thought still captive in my head, I took the red Swiss army knife out of my rucksack and placed it on my desk. I heard footsteps down the corridor outside, they began to grow louder. Before I knew it Tora had burst into the room, wearing a red, snuggly jumper and navy blue skinny jeans combined with lots of silver jewellery and red sneakers. She had a white and silver rucksack that seemed very full compared to mine. Tora was also wearing a big beaming smile which reminded me of Thor. Speaking of which, he had just burst into my room too. They looked like a bunch of grinning clowns.
‘Are you both ready,’ Thor began. ‘Because I must be going to Asgard, taking Jane with me.’ He said Jane like she was a fallen angel from heaven, as a beautiful sound rolled, elegantly off his tongue, forming the word, Jane. I rolled my eyes and said that I was ready, Tora made a girly, excited noise and left my room. Thor looked down at the floor, looking puzzled after we watched Tora leave in a happy girly frenzy.
I picked up my rucksack off my bed and followed Thor to the living room. Tony was running around frantically, followed by Pepper making sure that we had all of our things and that we were going to be safe. The rest of the Avengers were still staying with us and talking about our day trip to London. I took another look at Tora’s outfit and decided that it wasn’t practical and said-
‘Umm, Tora,’ I began. ‘What are you wearing?’
‘Something great,’ She said, spinning around in her own little glory, she was someone who definitely showed her emotions more than I did.
She stopped spinning and looked me up and down, her smile beaming at my chosen clothes. ‘Are you ready?’ She asked innocently, her eyes meeting mine.
‘As a matter of fact I am.’
‘Good.’ Tora said, sitting down on the sofa and opening her bag, giving it one last check.
‘Better.’ I said and sat down opposite her on the leather sofa.
Loki walked into the room from the lift and told Thor that Heimdall was ready to open the Bifrost now that it was fixed. I wonder why it was broken in the first place. He sat down next to me and I noticed how much our outfits matched and I think he noticed too. I wore a dark green long-sleeved top over a leather jacket with a gold necklace. I also wore black skinny jeans and black leather ankle boots. Tony, with the most distressed look then walked over to me and Tora, and the Avengers hushed, glaring at the people who were soon to be in Asgard. I couldn’t wait but I held back my smile, I knew Tony didn’t want us to go but Tora had persuaded him, something even I couldn’t do. He always believed Tora more than me.
I was pulled back into reality at the sound of Tony’s voice which sounded as if tears were brimming behind his eyes. Wait a minute, tears? TEARS? From Ironman? He really was worried about us going, it was good to know that he cared about us though.
‘So girls,’ he started with a cough. ‘We’re going to miss you.’ He held Pepper close, who rubbed a tear away from her cheek. Tony then said something sarcastic and turned back to his usual self-
‘I just can’t believe you both are going to Asgard before me. ’Giving Tora a hug and then me. We got up off the sofa and walked onto the balcony. Me and Tora stood close to Thor and Loki.
‘You had better look after them both’ Tony directed at Thor, a firm tone in his voice.
‘I shall,’ He said calmly at Tony. ‘But first I must collect Lady Jane.’ He nodded towards the Avengers who had met us on the balcony, I saluted Steve and he smiled, repeating the salute. I liked Steve we both enjoyed reading Oscar Wilde and Jules Verne. I glanced back at Thor as if to say that we were ready.
‘Heimdall, open the Bifrost.’
