‘Hello you might of heard of me I’m Lo-,’ Loki began only to be hit smack bang on the jaw by Jane once she realised he was ‘that guy who almost destroyed New York’.

We had just met up with Tora and Jane and, of course, Lady Sif. We all knew the plan, and what we, ourselves, had to do.

‘That was for New York!’ Jane confidently said as if she was a higher being than Loki. However, she was only a short brunette with ‘a bit higher intelligence for a mortal’ (as an Asgardian would put it). But with the pride and confidence in her voice she could quite easily be Asgardian.

Loki swished his head back from the little impact of the hit. He slowly started to smile…

‘I like her.’

Jane looked a bit clueless.

As if on cue to stop the awkward silence we heard footsteps. They sounded like the Einherjar guards Thor told me about and later heard them coming. We all didn’t move a muscle, we all knew it was them. Only Odin could have sent them, he must of done, had he? The Odin that Thor had told me about had seemed a lot kinder.

‘I’ll hold them off. Take her.’ She proclaimed directing us to Jane. Sif was willing to give herself to save others, I liked that about her.

‘Thank you.’ I said quietly, before following Thor, Jane and Tora who were walking quickly away in the opposite direction.

‘It is the very least-.’ Was the last I hear her say before scurrying after them. Then I heard the withdrawal of a sword. I glanced back keeping my pace; Sif was threatening Loki about betraying Thor. She kind of had a right to threatened him; it was obvious he would probably try to betray Thor.

In a large room we had entered, which looked like a huge Dark Elvan ship had entered before us, stood Volstagg. He was expecting us; after all, it was part of the plan. Standing a few feet away from Malekith’s ship he said that he would give us as much time as he could. Thor shaked his hand Volstagg’s hand and thanked him.

Just as we were getting inside the strange Elvan space craft, Loki was stopped once again. Tora noticed by turning around just before entering inside and chuckled to herself before kindly allowing me to step inside before herself.

Thor stood in front of the control panel perplexingly looking at the alienese buttons and controls. He then started to tap at them just as Loki came in, his hands still remaining handcuffed. After pressing the first button it mechanically hummed then fell into silence. Loki didn’t seem impressed as me and Tora stood behind both of them. Instinctively, we began to marvel the controls and switches.

‘I thought you said you knew how to fly this thing.’ Loki cunningly antagonised.

‘I said, How hard can it be?’ Thor corrected.

‘Well whatever you’re doing brother, I suggest you do it faster.’ Loki hurried Thor after hearing the Einherjar guards outside. Again, Loki calls Thor his ‘brother’, you never know what to expect with Loki; this makes me all the more suspicious.

‘Shut up Loki.’ Thor remarked impatiently.

‘You must have missed something.’ Loki inferred, watching a puzzled Thor.

‘No I didn’t.’ Thor forced into his voice. ‘I’m pressing every button on this thing.’ No, he was hitting them not pressing them.

‘No don’t hit it, press it – gently.’ Loki said, barely tolerating Thor.

‘I am pressing it gently.’ Thor began, mimicking Loki’s voice. ‘It’s not WORKING!’ He roared out of frustration.

I crept to the end of the control panel to the side of Loki and pressed a button Thor hadn’t tried yet just as he was about to belt the control panel with his fists. No one noticed me (they were too mesmerised by Thor).

The machine sprung to life, Thor’s face lighting with glee.

I would like to think it was me who started the Elvan ship, and I smiled out of the thanks I got from Loki, who smiled to the side of him after I pressed the button.

‘HA-HA.’ Thor boomed, realising the ship was about to take off, if he knew how to steer it. Me and Tora sighed out of relief that we were finally on our way.
