Chapter 29 is here for you! :D *cue applause*

ENJOY! Don't forget to vote and comment :) I don't own anything apart from my OCs (:

The lump in my throat was still there. No one had said anything since Loki died. My body shivered at the thought. A storm was approaching; we all followed after Thor as we entered the mouth of a cave on the mountain side.

The wind was fierce and slowly stopped as we emerged into the darkness. The cave was quite narrow and, well… just your average cave really… nothing more, nothing less. The cave smelt like running water but its dry atmosphere didn’t agree. To end the deathly silence, Jane stepped in.

‘He’s gonna unleash it, not just on Asgard or a star, Malekith is going to destroy everything.’ Well done genius. I’m sure I get my sarcasm from my Dad…

‘How, Jane. How?’ Thor questioned softly. The pain was still vivid in his eyes.

‘I saw him on Earth.’ Jane looked up at us. ‘Why would he go to Earth?’

‘The Convergence.’ Thor stated.

‘Oh God.’ Jane worryingly uttered. ‘None of this would of happened if I hadn’t found the aether.’

‘Then Malekith would have only possessed it that much sooner.’ Thor said; he was right.

‘I only found it because I was looking for you.’ Jane confessed. I felt Tora’s smile on my back, she always fell for cliché moments. I sighed and pinched the bridge of my nose… seriously

‘Jane.’ He soothed her, drawing Jane into his arms.

‘Now we’re trapped here.’ Jane said with annoyance in her voice.

A weird noise sounded in the dead silence. It made me and Tora jump. It sounded like someone’s phone…

‘It’s not me.’ Thor stated, looking confused. It wasn’t me either and Tora always had Taylor Swift as her ringtone or One Direction. Whereas I opted for Guns ‘n’ Roses or AC/DC.

Fumbling within her jacket pocket, Jane took out her cell phone, which was nothing compared to my Starkphone.

‘Hello?’ Jane asked, innocently answering it.

‘Hi Jane, it’s Richard.’ Was the reply. It’s was a man’s voice that had a slight Cockney accent.

‘Richard. Where are you?’ Jane questioned, wondering how she was getting signal in Svartalfheim.

‘I’m still in the office. It’s, it’s been a crazy day here today.’ The man named Richard said… unless it was a woman. I smiled that sudden thought. She held her phone up in the air, astonished at the perfect signal.

‘Oh my God. This is amazing!’ Jane confessed.

‘Is it? I quite enjoyed our lunch despite actually ordering anything.’ Richard chuckled to himself a bit nervously.

‘How am I getting service here?’ Jane started to wonder around like a crazy person, it didn’t surprise me.

‘Is this a bad time? Do you want me to try later?’ Richard questioned at Jane’s murmurings.

‘NO, no, no. Whatever you do, do not hang up the phone.’ Jane added suddenly realising what he had said.

‘I was just wondering whether you would like to try it again?’ Richard questioned, oh I know who is now. I looked at Thor who didn’t seem very happy. ‘Uh, maybe dinner next time?’

‘Yeah, yeah, yeah,’ Jane said who was playing along because she wasn’t remotely interested. ‘Just stay on the phone okay?’

‘Yeah, I will.’ Richard said willingly.

Pausing for a moment, Jane glanced down.

There were car keys and metal cans on the ground, all scattered around. How had they gotten there?

‘Oh my God.’ Jane said, picking up the keys with a Rubik’s cube key ring on them.

‘Am I interrupting something?’ Richard said from the long silence.

‘No, no, no nothing at all.’ Jane lied, but she wanted to stay connected. Jane turned around and said come on.

‘I’m losing you there, are you in a tunnel?’ Richard asked as the phone line began to crackle. We followed Jane further into the cave, avoiding the items on the dusty floor.

‘Where are we going?’ Tora said as if she felt she needed to say something after not saying anything for only half an hour. Jane ignored her and carried on leading the way.

‘Hello?’ The phone line began to mumble.

‘Why are there so many shoes in here?’ Thor questioned looking down at the randomly placed shoes.

It was as if we had walked through a portal, in the blink of an eye we were transported to London, Earth. It made me feel a bit light-headed as we carried on walking. That was quick… and very convenient.
