Yeah, this is an extra-long chapter so enjoy, it’s not very film accurate but I had to fit Loti and Tora in somewhere.

I only own Loti and Tora my OC’s!

I do not own any Marvel characters :(

Thank god I had remembered to bring a book or else Asgard would be very boring I told Tora this who sighed and said that she was going to go and check on Jane.

Since we had arrived in Asgard it was always Jane this, Jane that, just because she had the stupidity to touch this Dark Elf aether thing that everyone is on about, I can understand why Loki doesn’t like Jane…

I wonder where Loki is?

Besides Asgard being extremely booorrrriiinnnnggg it has been an adventure getting here and Asgard may be boring but it is soooooo beautiful. It’s like a dream you never want to wake up from.

Anyway, I’m sat with my back against a huge, gold pillar in the palace’s huge dining room, which apparently is one of many. What a surprise... Tora has burst in followed by The Warriors Three and Lady Sif, I had only said hello to them whilst entering Asgard but since then I hadn’t spoken to them. I don’t think Lady Sif liked me very much especially when I saw the way she looked at me whilst I was perched against the pillar. Volstagg simply smiled and asked of my presence in the medical room.

‘Ummm, okay but what do you need me for?’ I asked  getting up and putting my book into my black leather rucksack. Tora walked up to me put her hand on my shoulder and said -

‘Wait until we get there.’

This made me feel a little nervous because this was Tora; you never know what to expect. We walked through golden corridors and up golden stairs and golden passages, seriously what is with these people and gold, although it is very pretty. It should be called the city of gold, I said to Tora who sniggered at my remark. Sif turned around and smiled; I think we’re going to get along. The Warriors Three led the way followed by Sif and me and Tora who were giggling: a lot.

When we arrived at the medical room it just looked like a lot of Stark equipment, but a lot smaller and Jane who was laid in the middle on a strange looking table. I walked up from behind The Warriors Three towards a woman who was using what looked to be a quantum generator: I knew this because Dad had been using a prototype a couple of weeks ago. I cleared my throat softly before asking.

‘Excuse me to interrupt you,’ I asked patiently as the quantum generator beeped slightly, the woman lifted her head up; oh no, all eyes are on me! I thought, nervously. I pointed towards the device. ‘This is a quantum generator, right?’

Everyone looked extremely shocked by the fact that I knew this and I felt quite clever.

‘Yes, but it is called a soul forge, meaning it is practically the same thing.’ Her voice was pure and she spoke a lot like Thor and Loki but pretty much everyone did in Asgard.

‘And the soul forge allows you to transfer molecular energy?’ I asked, knowing it was correct.

‘Yes.’ She said a second time, a little more relaxed this time I knew that she knew I was smarter than most humans, because I read her mind without her realising (well, at least I hope she didn’t realise).

‘You have a gift.’ She said quietly now that Jane was arguing with the all-father, I don’t think she realises who he is… I thought.

‘Oh I’m sorry I didn’t mean to read your-.’ I felt really bad knowing that she knew I had read her mind.

‘It is quite acceptable, after all what you call magic is just science you don’t quite understand yet.’ I felt a little offended by her saying that humans didn’t have the brain capacity to understand, although she was right. It wasn’t magic I was using though.

‘It isn’t magic, it’s just,’ Wait, a minute even I didn’t know what my abilities were, Dad had always said they were just a mutation; I know when people are lying, especially Tony.

‘That is a little concerning,’ she paused, then smiled. ‘You needn’t worry.’

I could tell through the anxiousness in her eyes that it was quite worrying, I didn’t need a genius to tell me that.
