I do not own Marvel or the Avengers only my OCs Loti and Tora.

My bedroom was plastered in posters and had a light-up globe of the world. Comfortably, I sat on my bed and glanced around the room, observing it and taking my mind off the discussion I had ten minutes ago. I was obsessed with travelling and that was one of the good things of living with the Avengers-we were always going to new faraway lands. Tora walked into my room without knocking, this was one of the things that annoyed me about her.
‘What do you want?’ I asked, nastily.
‘Dad wants to see you,’ she began. ‘He isn’t happy.’
I got up to leave the room and said, ‘I know.’ I said it firmly so that she shut up, so that I could tolerate her presence.
I walked down the corridor and heard Tora shut my bedroom door behind her. I walked to the lift, when Natasha asked where I was going, I told her that I was going shopping. I could tell by the way her eyes, her dark grey eyes stared at me, that she knew I was lying. The lift doors opened without hesitation and invited me into the surprisingly warm lift and comforted by JARVIS’ calm voice.
‘Where are you heading to? , Shall I take you there?’ He asked innocently, he was only a machine.
‘To my Dad’ I replied, not quite knowing where he was. The buttons on the lift lit up, which confirmed I was going down, no doubt to the ground floor where Tony was five minutes ago. The lift stopped with a slight shudder, so I knew I had arrived. I walked out of the lift, keeping my head down, to hide the shame. I shuffled towards Tony, where he was now fixing up the right leg on one of his many suits. Steve announced he had to be leaving but I ignored him, Tony was the one who asked for me not Steve. I heard him walk, softly into the lift and the mechanism inside the lift whirring, slightly.
‘What are you doing?’ I asked calmly, in hope that I would change the subject of why he demanded me come here. He turned around, facing me.
‘How did you find out about the tesseract, I knew you were a bit of a troublemaker,’ I held back a smirk. ‘But I never expected this.’ He said it firmly with a growl hidden deep in his voice, I kept my head down.
I’d never seen my dad act like this towards me, even when I set fire to the living room rug at the age of three, who could blame me I was only a kid at the time, somehow Tony made me feel like I was still a kid. I looked up towards him, hesitantly and his brown, booming eyes stared into mine, like I was prey, ready to be attacked.
‘ Why is the Tesseract still on Earth, it was supposed to be taken to Asgard because we can’t control something that powerful’ I said pointing to the silver suitcase which was now closed. Tony looked away as if he was hiding something. He didn't say anything for about ten minutes so I had to take action.
‘TELL ME!’ I exclaimed, I was pretty sure everyone in the building heard me.
‘ You see, there is no simple way to put this,’ his eyes now averted on me, whatever he had to say it wasn’t good news, I could tell by the chill in his voice and the truth in his wide eyes, as he looked down at me.
And then he told me.
