Sibling Rivalry ~ Avengers Fanfic

Chapter 2

Yeah, Chapter 2 is here, I have so many ideas!!! Please be nice because it’s my first fanfic.

I do not own any Marvel characters only my OCs Tora and Loti.

I finished just before Tora as I skidded to a stop after an epic race and only just overtook her at the last minute soon followed by her and she didn’t seem happy.

‘Loti what was that!’

‘What?’ I asked innocently as she took off her helmet and snowboard and pointed to the top of the slope. I pretended not to realise she was annoyed.

‘You pushed me’ she screeched. ‘And that’s cheating.’ Tora added smugly.

‘No I didn’t I was stood next to you the whole time’ I lied. ‘It was you who was a fool and lost balance.' By now the rest of the Avengers had come down from the slope and were either trying to drown us out by talking to one another, or watching and listening intently.

‘You LIAR!’ Tora roared, ‘You used your telekinetic, telepathic and teleportal abilities’. I tried not to laugh as she got tongue-tied and hid the smirk on my face.

‘Okay, fine’ I admitted.  ‘But it was funny’.

She sighed and smiled. The good thing about Tora was that she was a very forgiving person; I mean she had to be, after all I play pranks on her all the time and she always falls for them. Tony walked over politely and said sarcastically-

‘You girls finished ‘cause we want to go for a drink at the café’.

‘Yes Dad.’ Tora said, ‘ Just Loti being Loti.’ She said sweetly nudging me as if hinting something but I just looked at her oddly and she just carried on smiling.

She walked to our father’s side and they turned and headed for the café as if I was completely oblivious to them. ~Errr thanks for waiting for me to take off my helmet and snowboard~  I thought.I rushed to the café a few metres away as the Avengers and Tora made their way to where Loki was sat.

Loki stayed silent as he saw me sit down slowly next to him. He was reading a book I had given him because we both enjoyed reading. Somehow there was a part of me that felt sorry for him – only a small part, of course; he did almost destroy New York- my home.

‘Hello, Loti,’ he acknowledged me, still remaining indulged in the book.

‘Hi.’ I sighed, breathlessly, after snowboarding. I looked over at Tora, at the other end of the table, she smiled, noticing me.

‘Umm, Loti’. Tora asked sweetly, I knew she was going to make me do something I didn’t want to do, I prepared for the worst.

‘What?’. I sighed.

‘ I just wanted to know what you’d like to order’. She said innocently.  She passed the menu across to me, which had a black leather backing and gold- lettering inside.

‘Oh’.
