It's morning time, Mike comes downstairs to wake up Eleven.
"El" He says, slowly.
Insecure, and doubting, Mike kisses El on the cheek. El wakes up, and sits down.
"Mike" She says, smiling.
"I have a surprise" Mike says
El's face turns from sleepy to surprised, and looks at Mike. Mike has something behind his back. He then shows an Eggo.
"Got you breakfast" he says
El starts giggling, just like Mike does. With ought doubting, she bites her eggo. Mike smiles and turns his head down, looking at the floor. When El finishes eating, she looks at Mike, looks at his hair, and takes away some hair that was blocking Mike's sight. Mike looks at her, sharing a gaze.
"Mike" Says El
Mike grabs her hand and says;
"Yes?"
"I love you" Says El, confidently.
Mike seems surprised, but amazingly happy.
"I love you more" Says Mike
This was the first time he said that he loved her more, he wanted her to know. After that, they looked at each other, smiling, non-stop. Mike couldn't resist not having El on his arms, so he hugged her, wrapping her, like if he would protect her forever. And that day, El knew. Eleven knew that Mike was always going to be there for her.
