It was night time. Mike was about to go to sleep, but first he went down stairs.
"Goodnight El. Love you." He said kissing her cheek.
Mike started walking up the stairs, when a warm hand hold Mike's arms, pushing him back. Mike looked behind him. El.
"Mike i'm scared". Eleven whispered, looking down kind of embarrassed.
"Don't worry El. You can sleep in my bed if you want, i can sleep here". He said, grabbing her hand and interlocking fingers.
Eleven nodded, shyly.
They walked up the stairs, and entered to Mike's room. El crawled into the warm bed.
"Do you need anything else?" He said
"No, thank you" She silently said.
They gazed and smiled at each other. Mike left the night light on, and was closing the door to leave El sleeping.
"Mike" She said, sitting down.
"Yeah?"
"Stay" She said
Mike was insecure at first, mostly for her mother, if it were for him he would sleep with El whenever she needed him. 'Screw it' He thought. He came back in the room and closed the door. He crawled into the bed, next to Eleven. They both lay down, Eleven getting closer to Mike. She wrapped her arms around Mike's waist, resting her head on his chest. Mike also wrapped Eleven with both of his arms. He wanted her to feel safe. She did. Mike kissed El on the forehead and said;
"Goodnight El"
Eleven looked up at Mike, leaving a soft kiss on his lips.
"Goodnight Mike" She said, while sharing a gaze with Mike.
She blushed a bit, this was the first time she made the first move to a kiss.
Mike couldn't stop himself and kissed her back, this time, they kept it longer. When they finished they smiled, and El went back to resting her head on Mike's chest, quickly falling asleep.
