I shook my hands out before deciding to knock on Luke's door.
"Hi Skylar, what brings you here?" Luke said once he opened the door.
"Just out on the town, I guess." I shrugged as he let me past him.
I slid my shoes off as Luke stood awkwardly beside me. "I like your dress."
I laughed. "Thanks, I guess. I hardly wear them, and I honestly feel like my ass is hanging out."
"Well, it's not." He said with a chuckle. I turned slightly and glared at him.
"Don't look at my ass, Hemmings," He threw his arms up in surrender. "God, I should have stopped at home for some clothes."
"You can use some of mine." Luke shrugged, but before I could argue, he pulled me up the stairs to his room.
His room had white walls and several posters all over the walls. The bedspread was blue, black, white and grey striped. It was an overall tidy room, besides a couple of pieces of clothing on the floor.
"Here, you can go to the restroom and change, and I'll pick out a movie." Luke handed me a pair of sweatpants and a black t-shirt.
"O-Okay." I said quietly.
I made my way to the bathroom that was across the hall from his room. I bit my lip as I closed the door behind me. How was I supposed to wear a guy's clothes without feeling... awkward? Was it normal to be nervous about this stuff?
I tried to ignore the nervousness as I slipped my black dress off and put on the grey sweatpants.
Now I understood why girl's took their boyfriend's clothes; they were fucking comfy.
I put the t-shirt on as well and headed out of the bathroom. I peeked into Luke's room, but he wasn't in there. I turned and went down the stairs to the living room, where Luke sat criss cross on the ground.
"You're clothes are really comfy." I said softly, setting my dress over by my purse.
"Thanks, I wear them myself." Luke said, turning his head to look at me with a small smile.
"I figured you would." I responded awkwardly.
Luke spun around on his rear to face me. "A-Alright. Well I grabbed The Little Mermaid, The Breakfast Club, and Anchor Man. Whatcha feelin'?"
"That's," I let out a loud breath, grabbing my temples. "That's a hard choice."
"I know, I could cry over this." Luke said, catching on to my sarcasm.
"Gee, how about we just watch all of them? You know?" I said through our fake stress.
"I mean, yeah, we wouldn't want to waste perfectly good movie time." Luke nodded, wiping his forehead to relieve himself from fake sweat.
We stared at each other for a couple seconds before beginning to laugh like idiots.
"Okay, I'll go make popcorn, you can put one of the movies in." Luke said through a few giggles.
"Aye eye, cappin'!" I saluted him, crawling off of the arm of the couch and picking up a movie. After much contemplation, I chose Breakfast Club. One of my personal favorite classics.
"I hope you don't mind me quoting along, I love this movie." I said to Luke once he brought a bowl of popcorn in.
"I was about to say the same to you, actually." Luke laughed.
And soon, the movie started, and we were quoting like crazy.
