I haven't talked to Calum or Luke in a week. I didn't want to get involved until they figured things out between the two of them. Plus, I seemed to be the reason they were arguing in the first place.
So now, I sat at a coffee shop with Jade and Danielle, who were jabbering over what they planned to wear to the party at Calum's house this Saturday.
"Did he say what kind of party it was?" Danielle asked, drinking her iced coffee.
"What the hell do you think it is, a costume party?" Jade rolled her eyes.
Danielle scoffed, "I don't know maybe its themes or something, damn."
"What are you wearing?" Jade looked over to me. I pulled my eyes away from the window, which I was staring out of.
I shrugged. "I'm actually not really thinking about going."
"Why? You make parties so much more fun!" Danielle said. "My favorite was when you got like an entire room to dance to the Rick Rolled song."
Jade nodded, making me roll my eyes.
"Listen, Calum and Luke are in a fight, so I'm just trying to stay out of it." I set my phone down on the table.
"You do realize he's basically going to just be in his room banging Iris, right?"
I stifled a laugh, knowing that would probably happen. "Yeah I guess so."
"So just come with us, please?" Jade whined.
"Hang out with your friends, please Skylar?" They both stuck out their bottom lips, making puppy dog faces.
"Whatever, fine." I crossed my arms.
"Good, now you can get your mind off of Luke and Calum and just focus on the four musketeers for awhile!" Danielle clapped with a big smile.

I now stood in Danielle's room, as we all got ready. I told Hannah I was staying at her house, since I didn't want to go home and smell like alcohol.
Jade was wearing skinny jeans and a blue jacket, with her hair curled (which she rarely did). Danielle was wearing skinny jeans and her Ramones shirt, one of her new favorites. And that left me, wearing my black skinny jeans and a t-shirt that had a smiley face on it.
"Let's go so we can find a parking spot." Jade said, picking up her keys.
Once we got to Calum's house, we realized how crowded it would really be.
"Jesus, I forget Calum is so popular." I said as we walked up to the door. We opened it, meeting tons of people.
"Where should we go?" Danielle yelled over the booming music. We looked over to Jade, who found her boyfriend instantly.
"Let's try to find a drink or something." I yelled back, grabbing her wrist and leading her through the crowd. We finally got to the kitchen, which was slightly less crowded.
Danielle looked as if she wasn't breathing, and then I remembered, she was claustrophobic.
"Dan, are you okay?" She nodded, pulling a cup off the stack and pouring some liquid into it.
"Danielle!" We both turned to see a brunette boy, who's hair was curly and had dimples.
"Oh, hi Ashton." She said, barely audible.
Ashton looked her up and down, then looked to me. "Is she alright?"
"She's claustrophobic, she'll calm down after a bit."
Ashton grabbed her hand softly. "Do you want to go out back? It's a lot less crowded." She nodded softly, looking over to me.
"Go ahead. I'll see you two later." Ashton waved before they walked off toward the back door.
Well, here I was, standing in the kitchen, alone. Funny how things turn out like that.
I just stood there for a good ten minutes, wondering what else to do. A couple people asked me to fill a drink for them, which wasn't so bad, I guess.
"Skylar, what are you doing here?" I turned to see one of Calum's friends walking towards me, looking a bit tipsy. I think his name was Jake, but I wasn't sure.
"Just standing, unlike you. You're kind of swaying a bit." He leaned against the counter next to me, pouring a drink and handing it to me.
"Ah, sweet cheeks, you have no clue." I took a sip of my drink, slightly nodding.
"Yeah, I guess not." I sighed.
"Okay, well I'm going to go now, but if you want some dick later, call my name, babe." He stumbled off leaving me wide eyed.
"I don't even know your name." I mumbled, taking another sip of the drink in my hands.
"Sure you do." I turned to see Danielle, holding Ashton's hand.
"Oh, hello again, guys." I smiled.
Danielle sighed. "Why aren't you doing something, Skylar?"
I shrugged. "I don't know what to do."
"Let's go dance!" she said happily, grabbing my wrist with her free hand and dragging me and Ashton behind her.
We started dancing crazily in the crowd, making people laugh and others danced with us. We were having a great time, filling our bodies with more alcohol.
Before I knew it, Danielle and Ashton were practically sticking their tongues down each others throats, leaving me alone in a huge crowd of drunk teens who were jumping around like crazy.
I couldn't go home, not alone. But I didn't feel like staying here, either. I grabbed my phone from my pocket and scooted out of the crowd, dialing the first number my fingers would let me. I felt like I was going to throw up.
"Luke, can you pick me up?" I slurred into the phone as I stepped out the front door and leaned against the front of the house.
"What?" he said, his voice sounding tired.
I sighed "Pa-lleeaassee? I'm at Calum's party and its so fun! But there's something wrong with me." I noticed how blurry my vision was getting.
"What do you mean? Are you drunk?"
"Well yeah, but something isn't right about this..." I mumbled.
"Okay, fine. Give me five minutes." He hung up. I quickly went inside to try to find Danielle or Jade to tell them I was leaving, but instead I found Jake or whatever his name was.
"Jake, if you see my friends, can you tell them I'm going?" I poked his shoulder. He nodded, smiling slightly.
"Of course babe, but here, have another drink before you go." he handed me a red cup, which I drank out of quickly.
