It was me.

***Madison***

Ahh yes, the time to return to school to further my education and study and learn knowledge that isn't beneficial to my future or what I want to be.

Okay school isn't that bad, I mean I have friends...like William, Jessica and..

Oh I can't wait to see Joseph!

And I guess I can't really blame school or the teachers or my parents for making me study different subjects that I might not need in the future, I mean after all, I don't even know what I wanna be when I grow up.

But then again, I guess I didn't put much thought into it since I don't have a choice either way.

My dad has already made that decision for me, running a hotel.

Great! All of my dreams coming true.

I get up and head to the bathroom to wash up and get ready for school.

After that, I head downstairs to prepare breakfast.

My mum's work shifts start super early in the morning, but because of that she gets to come back before any of us come back from school.

Because of this, I'm responsible for preparing breakfast for everyone.

The twins were already downstairs and dressed, with breakfast already set on the dining table.

That's odd.

"MORNING SISSSS!" Mary exclaims excitedly.

"Good morning." Molly greets with a sweet smile.

"Yes good morning to you girls too. What is this?" I gesture towards the baked goods on the table.

"We woke up really early so that we could prepare breakfast for you and dad. And ourselves of course." Molly explains, beaming.

"Yup! The souls of the innocent were the main ingredients." Mary adds, smiling like a maniac.

I laugh, it was so sweet that they got up early just to make breakfast for us.

Molly gasps, hitting Mary in the shoulder, "No we didn't!"

With that we all laugh together, it's been a while since I could laugh and talk freely with my sisters.

"Thank you so much girls. I have to ask though, why did you prepare breakfast for us? I'm usually the one who prepares it." I sit down, grab a cupcake and take a nice big bite.

"Well..." Molly starts, scratching her neck, "Because! It's just been really tense in the house lately and you seem so stressed out, we just want to maybe brighten your day a bit and help out." Mary finishes, her cheeks turning red.

I sit there, taking in what they just said.

"Thank you girls, this made my day." I say, my eyes watery.

"Do you think you could do this everyday?" I chuckle.

"Whattt? Of course..not! We can't wake up this early all the time! This is just a one time thing! We need our beauty sleep." Mary gasps, folding her arms stubbornly. Molly giggles and smiles at her twin.

"Awww that's a little unfair don't you think? I wake up this early just to prepare breakfast for you guys everyday! I deserve a little break!" I pout.

"Well too bad!" Mary sticks her tongue out and scarfs her cupcake down.

"You spoiled brats! Fine then, I make better breakfast than you guys anyway." I scoff, resuming my consumption of breakfast.

"That's true." Molly states matter of factly, taking another bite of her cupcake.
