It meant something to me

***Madison***

Genius had this aura of difficulty emitting out of him.

As though he was going through some tough times.

As though he had no one to talk to about his problems.

Everytime, he would go deep into thought when things were silent and when someone starts talking to him and the silence's gone, he covers it up and acts as though nothing happened.

It's not too hard for me to read people's emotions really.

"Hey genius," I should probably ask for his name, "you okay? I'm sorry about earlier. Ignore those douchebags, they're not worth your time."

"See you around genius." I bid goodbye and walked to Geometry class.

Dang it, I didn't ask for his name.

Oh well, I'm sure I'll come around asking for his name.

"Hey hey Mad! Hey!"

"Yes Seb? What do you want?" I gritted my teeth. Yeah, hey! Seb's here.

"Sorry about lunch...those cheerleaders were pretty...not cool. That wasn't cool of them to call you a dork...." he smiled sheepishly, "eventhough you are one." he winked cheekily.

"Oh shut up." I stuck my tongue out and pinched his arm lightly.

"So...after school, you wanna go for a movie or something?" Sebastian asked me, his hands in his pockets.

"Sure, I'm all yours. But...let's not go for a movie. Let's go for something else, something much more exciting than just movies...even the arcade might do."

"Like what? What else can we do in the mall, except watching a movie and eat?"

"You don't want to go shopping now do you?" Seb wiggled his eyebrows teasingly.

Smirking, I replied: "If I do, you wouldn't want to come with me now would you?"

"Fine...it's a deal."

"A deal it is."

I smiled satisfyingly.

At least...things are good now with me and Seb...I guess.

**********

"I can't believe I even agreed on doing this with you."

"Hey, don't blame me now Seb. You were the one that wanted to go out with me, not vice versa. I would have been fine just staying at home."

"In my defense, I was expecting something more relaxing...like watching a movie. Not go rock climbing."

"Ya scared of falling Seb? Scaredy cat?"

"In my defense once again! This isn't ordinary rock climbing, we needa go quite high."

"Be a man would ya Seb, climb it with me? Please..." I pouted and pleaded.

Hearing my pleas, Seb straightened his hair and stood in a superman position, "Let's go baby!"

"I'll climb with you, in fact, I'll catch you if you fall."

Famous last words.

**********

"Mad, I want to go home now....NOWWWW!" Seb screamed.

"Seb...people are staring. Quit your whining and screaming." I snickered in response.

Thankfully he quit his whining for a bit, until we completed the climb.

Back at the bottom of the rock climbing wall, Sebastian took my hand and held it tightly.

"Get me home now, please. I want to get home." He mumbled.

Scarred for his life I see...."Fine, let's go home, you big baby."

Although it was just a little touch, it was a touch from Sebastian...

It meant something to me.

His touch sent shivers and chills down my spine.

It was something I wanted to cling onto.
