Pain. That is all you felt as your car sped down the long roads of Mystic Falls, crystal tears were falling down your roses red cheeks. Your parents died a few years back in an accident, and your grandparents passed last year. You had no other family other than your sister but you had gotten into a bad fight and you couldn't bare to look at her anymore.
As you turned the bend you saw a body laying in the middle of the road, knowing it was a vampire trying to kill someone else's family pissed me off.
"Ugh." You groaned wiping the remaining tears from under your eyes.
You got out of the car and walked over to the person lying on the road.'
"Get up." You demanded
"Nope." The vampire said while staying completely still.
"Oh come on I don't have time for this you moron! Get the hell up!" I practically screamed.
He propped himself up on his elbows and looked you in the eye, the way he looked at you with no humanity made your stomach churn.
You squinted your eyes a bit and took in his facial features.
"Stefan?!" You said confused.
"Y/n? I thought you were dead?" He spoke as you watched the humanity rush into his body, seeing the pain return to him was soul crushing.
"I can't believe your here!" He said pulling himself up and grasping you in his arms, hugging you so tight you fought for breath.
"It's been so long." You whispered hugging him back. He let go and just stood there staring at you.
"What happened Stef? Why did you have your humanity off?" You asked
"
"I missed you sooo much y/n!" He yelled
"Why were you laying on the ground?" You asked
"Life." He breathed
"I haven't seen you since 1965." You laughed
"It's been a while, were you crying?" He said looking at your tear stained cheeks.
"Oh. Yeah I guess." You smiled.
"What's wrong? Where were you headed?" He asked in a serious tone.
"I have nobody. Everyone is gone." You teared up.
"You have me, and Damon would love to see you again and I have some other friends that would love to meet you." He smiled
"Okay, i guess I'll stay." You smiled back "want to get in. I'll drive." You laughed
"Of course." He chuckled.
You drove back to the Salvatore mansion, on the way back he told you about all that happened with Elena and Damon and all the magic stuff. All you could think about was that you my have finally found your forever family, and you couldn't help but smile at your new found future.
