Blair's POV
It's been a while that I've been here, at the hospital. And I was ok here, I was alone, but it was ok.
Luke visited me. At first he came every day before and after school, even during his lunch break. Then after a while he only came before school. Then he started coming like every two days, and eventually only on a few days...
I was sad to see that, but what could I do about it? Nothing. I mean it's his life, I get that he has friends and has plans.
I wish I had plans. But then I'd need to have friends.
Yeah...
"Hello Blair."
I got pulled out of my thoughts and looked at my left. There stood a girl. She had black hair, brown eyes, black clothes. She looked very badass, as you would say.
"Blair?"
I blinked, it's now that I realized that I didn't answer her. "Uhm... Hello..."
She smirked, a smirk I'd never forget. She looked so confident, so intimidating. She was like... Everything I'm not. Everything I'll never be. "Finally, an answer."
I nodded. I didn't know what else to do. Like I said before, she was intimidating. I felt like hiding underneath my sheets. Still, I was too curious. "W-who are you?"
She smiled. "I'm happy you're asking." She went to sit down onto my bed. "My name's Willow."
I nodded. "Cool name."
She nodded. "I like it too." She looked around.
Ok, this was the moment that it was getting awkward. What should I do now? Should I say something?
"Anyway I'm here to talk about school."
I looked up, confused.
"Because you were out so long, our teachers said you have to choose someone that'll help you catch up on school stuff."
I nodded. "Makes sense... I guess..."
She looked at me, smiling. "So I offered to take that position."
I gulped, I don't really know how to feel about this. I mean it's nice that she wants to help me, but I don't know her. I don't know her intentions. "Uhm... I don't know..."
She looked at me, she didn't seem to like my answer. "You wanted someone else?" Yep, she was offended.
"No. I mean... No." I looked down for a while before looking back at her again. "Who else offered to help?" I had to admit, I was curious.
The girl started chuckling, and her chuckling turned into laughter. And that laughter became louder and louder.
I looked down, what was so funny?
She looked at me. "Do you seriously think that someone wants to help a freak like you?"
I looked at her, shocked.
"What? You know I'm right. No one offered because they all rather stay away from you."
I gulped, I was fighting so hard to keep the tears from falling.
"I mean even your own brother doesn't visit you anymore."
At this I looked up. "He's busy. Probably..."
She nodded and stood up. "As long as you believe it, right?" She shook her head no before walking to the door. "But ok suit yourself."
I looked down, realizing I don't have much choice left. "No," I said, stopping her. "Don't go."
She showed me her smirk. She closed the door again and walked back to me. "Good, then let's start, shall we?"
I nodded.

"Hey Blair." Luke said as he entered my room. He walked to me and hugged me.
How I needed this! But he pulled away too fast.
"So I've talked to the doctors. They said you can go home today." He smiled. "Isn't that great?"
"Yeah... Great."
"We'll be together at home again." He smiled. "Watching tv, movies, having breakfast and dinner..."
I smiled, but I knew better. I knew that it wasn't going to be like this. And then there's school... Ugh school! Why does that even exists? It's basically the place people get insecure. Like really, have you thought about that? Sure, you'll meet other people, sometimes, but it's mainly something bad.
"Hey, are you ok?"
I looked at him. I can't help but to look down.
"Hey," he said as he caressed my face. "What's wrong? Did something happen?"
At this point I was thinking about Willow. She stayed all day, literally all day. She helped me with school, she talked to me, she even made me smile. Sure, she's a very mean person, but at the same time, I knew she had a really sweet and nice side hidden inside.
"Blair?"
I looked back at Luke, I couldn't tell him. He'd want to find her. And what if she doesn't like him? Or worse, she does like him. Then I'd lose my brother and friend... Nope, I'll keep it to myself, for now. "Yes?"
"Are you ok? You're acting strange."
I nodded and smiled. "I'm ok. Just tired."
He nodded.
"And nervous. For school."
I saw in the way he moved, he didn't like that. "You don't have to be scared for school. I'm there if you need me."
Yeah, he says that now. But he never really is.
I remember that time when I felt alone, it was when I just got into our current school. He told me that he'd be there for me. So when I felt alone, I went to him, telling him I felt alone.
He just told me to give it some time. Some of his friends were laughing at me, telling me to find some girls to play with. They're so mean. Especially Nick, his best friend.
Nick never really liked me, and his sister Lindsay... They're just mean people, and it hurts me to see Luke be with them. He should have better people surround him.
"Blair?"
"Hmm?" I looked back at him.
He showed me a small smile. "You're really deep in thoughts today."
I smiled a little.
"I said that I was going to pick you up tonight after school, ok?"
I nodded, I mean it's not like I have much choice.
"Ok, I'll see you tonight." he said and just left, without even giving me a hug or a kiss or anything at all.
