Blair's POV

Soon my parents came back downstairs. Dad went to sit back in front of me, while mom sat next to me. I wonder if this'll be my life from now on: them being overly protective.

Mom scooted closer, her arm on my chair while she wasn't hiding the fact she was looking at my homework.

I slowly looked at them. "Is there a problem?"

Dad shook his head while mom was just checking what I had written down. "You're doing well." She finally answered. "Good, keep this up."

I nodded. I should've been happy, but I wasn't. I don't want her to compliment me because I'm doing homework, I need her to listen to me. But she couldn't care less.

Mom and dad kept looking at me until I finished homework. I got up, putting my homework in my backpack.

"What are you going to do now?" mom asked, she was looking for ways to keep me out of my room.

"She and I are going to play a game." dad answered, smiling at me. "Isn't that right, sweetie?"

I smiled at him. "Yeah, we will." I put my backpack by the front door and then walked back to them. "What will we do?"

He smiled and already took a board game. While he was getting everything out of the box, mom got up and walked to the tv. She watched tv.

"Do you think Luke and Rachel want to play along?"

Before I could answer, I heard a door open and then the stairs. Luke and Rachel appeared. Rachel walked to me, sitting down next to me. "Are you ok?"

I nodded and slowly smiled.

She smiled as well. "Good." She wrapped her arm around me, as if protecting me. "What are we doing?"

Dad smiled at us before averting his eyes to the board game. "Blair and me are going to play this game. Do you want to join?"

She nodded immediately. "That sounds like a lot of fun."

"I'll play too." Luke sat down next to dad.

"Why don't we do teams?" Rachel suggested. "Blair and me against you two."

I smiled and nodded. "Yes, we'll beat you two."

Dad smiled even more, I guess he's happy I'm smiling.

"We won!" Rachel got up, celebrating. She pulled me up as well, hugging me in the process. "We're a great team."

I smiled and nodded.

"Not fair," Luke started, he was such a sore loser. "Dad was letting you two win."

"They were just really good players, son." Dad put everything away again. "Besides, it's just a game."

Luke huffed and crossed his arms, looking away.

"So Rachel," mom suddenly said. She had gotten up and walked to us. "Are you staying the night?"

Luke looked at her, smiling and nodding.

But Rachel, she looked at me. "Do you want to have a sleepover?"

I smiled and slowly nodded. "I'd love that."

"Wait, Rach, why don't you sleep with me?"

She looked at Luke, she gave him a look before looking at my mom. "I'll spend the night at Blair's room."

"Very well. I trust you to watch over her."

Rachel nodded and then looked at me. "Come on." She pulled me with her upstairs, to my room. I wonder though. About Willow. She was going to spend the night at my house too...

We entered the room and I saw that my window was open. "Why is that open?" Rachel already went to it to close it. "It's freezing here now."

"Willow." I simply said.

"Oh... Were you two going to be here together?"

I nodded. "But it's ok, I wanted this for a while." I smiled.

She returned the smile and laid down on my bed. "Let's have a good sleepover now."

I nodded and wanted to lie down next to her. However, I stopped when I saw Willow's bag on the ground. It had moved.

I walked to it and looked out the window. I saw nothing. I then looked at my bathroom. I opened it and looked inside. No one.

"Willow?"

At this, Rachel got up and looked at me. "Blair, there's no one here."

I looked at her. "Willow's very good at hiding, I'm just making sure she isn't."

She nodded and looked around as well. "I don't see her though."

I shook my head. "I think she left." I walked to the bed and laid down. I sighed deeply. "I'm exhausted."

Rachel nodded and looked at me. "How was the talk with your parents? Did they listen?"

I looked away.

"That bad?"

I sighed before lying on my side, facing her. "They didn't care. They just made rules for me to keep me from doing anything again." I looked down. "I guess it's nothing after all."

Rachel caressed my face. "It is something." I looked at her, and I immediately got lost in her eyes. "What happened to you was awful," She looked deep in my eyes. "And I won't let it happen anymore." She ended with a whisper.

I gulped. "Thank you, for always being there for me."

She scooted closer, to which I did too. "Someone has to, Luke doesn't think half of the time..."

I chuckled. "He's Luke."

"Still," She kept on caressing my cheek. "He should look out for you. I don't understand why he's not doing that."

"He just doesn't understand the situation, I guess." I looked down.

"But he isn't trying either." She sighed deeply. "I don't like seeing you hurt."

I smiled a little, it means a lot to hear her say that. It means she cares. Right? However, I wasn't really in the mood to talk about this subject anymore. "I'm tired."

She looked at me. "I really don't understand how this is happening."

I looked at her, I was done with this subject, I just wanted to sleep now.

"It's so unfair. Why you?" She caressed my cheek again, slowly this time. "You're so nice. And so kind." She scooted even closer. "And so beautiful." She whispered before slowly leaning in, her lips connecting with mine.
