Chapter 5

Samantha's P.O.V

Me and Levi had only just exited the school gates when he blurted," my dad's coming to pick us up, and you're going to be in so much shit!" I panicked at these words, and began to run. I didn't know where I was going but it had to be better than facing sam. My rib agonizingly stung as I ran down the street, hearing Levi's cries get quieter and quieter as I ran further down the street. "He's coming for you!" I heard him scream, and surely enough a few seconds after the words left his vile mouth, head-lights beamed right at me. I was like a deer about to be roadkill, every second longer I stood there frozen I was a second closer to my death. my life came into focus just in time and I leaped to the side, missing the car by a fraction. The car stopped and Sam got out, he stood over me and glared into my eyes, I was going to apologize but I knew it would be better to keep my mouth shut. A million thoughts ran through my head as he raised his foot in the air, leaving it a few seconds before he made it come crashing down on my face. And for me, that was lights out ...

I awoke a few minuets later in the boot. It wasn't exactly hard to tell, it had the horrid scent of fags and bumpy ride because of his poor suspension. I had the feeling we had reached our private road when I was getting thrown around in all places as we went along, and eventually the car came to a stop. The boot door was throw open and my eyes didn't even have time to ajust to the sunlight before I was thrown onto the floor, the rough gravel peircing my skin. I couldn't even break the fall as he had tied my arms together behind my back, and placed duct tape on my mouth. Sam grabbed my arm and pulled me inside the house as Deitora came walking up to us and slapped me hard round the face then looked at sam. "Awwww, did my poor sam sam have to go and chase this slut" she said rubbing his hair, i gagged at the sound and sight of the sickening scene. Deitora sharply turned her head and sent daggers at me, she got so close to me that we ended up only a few inches apart. she raised her hand and i flinched expecting her to slap me again, but instead, she ripped the duct tape off my lips. she giggled to herself as my lips began to bleed. She slapped me again and if it weren't for Sam still holding me I would have fallen to the ground. Sam began dragging me to the garden as I struggled in his grip and my feet scrapped across the floor, my feet desperately trying to find me an exit. Deitora started kicking at my legs as I tried to scramble away, then she caught my ankle and stomped on it and just like my rib I heard a slight crunch. Sam dropped me in the door way of the back door and laughed at the state I was in... Bleeding lips, red marks across my face and possibly broken ribs and ankle. But I've been in worse.

Sam picked me back up with the rope that was used to tie my hands together. I hadn't much energy and began to feel droopy as we walked along causing agony to my ankle. "Pick your damm feet up, slut!" he yelled, and I tried. I just couldn't, my ankle was possibley broken and I could barely move from the lack of energy or food. He threw me over to where there was a chain with a dog collar on the end, the previous owner must have left it here. I sat on the floor as he adjusted the collar to my neck, put it on, and then he left.
I'm not a dog! What the hell?! I was furious! But I was also exhausted... I had no food or water and my injuries stung in agony. I started to shiver as the cold night air began to fall, nipping at my skin. My body was going numb as the cold from the floor was seeping through my bones.

I heard a wolf howl in the distance, and it was beautiful. I just hope he's not looking for food. But my body was too exhausted to move anymore and I slowly drifted off to sleep.
