Jesses P.O.V
"Wrawwwwww!" Cody screamed, doing his best version of a wolf. To be honest to most it just sounded like a dinosaur, but not to him.
"Ahhhh no!" Sami joined in, "the big bad wolf!", she held her face as if she was terrified.
"Really?" I began, Sami started to shake her head. Her lips signing 'No'. I just furrowed my eyebrows confused and continued, "i thought that was a dinosaur."
Sami threw her hands in the air, "i give up!" she shouted.
Cody began whining, he didnt like it when people mistook his impressions. Sami had been out of hospital for 3 week now and was quickly getting the hang of spending almost everyday with my little brother. Cody stomped upstairs, clearly upset with me as I held my hands up in surrender.
"Jesse, how could you not know that it was a wolf?" Sami asked.
"Ahem," I began, "the question is how could you know it was a wolf?"
We both came together and gave eachother a hug, lightly laughing as we did.
"Hey have you been doing what the doctor told you?" I asked as I broke out of the hug.
"Yes..." Sami lied.
"Sami, you know you need to keep training to shift, the later you leave it the harder and more dangerous it is."
Sami just shrugged, "I'll drag you to the doctors!" Sami ignored me and started walking away, despite the fact that she hated the doctors.
"Samantha, i will command you to if you dont agree to shift soon, meaning today."
She stopped dead in her tracks. Slowly turning around she sent daggers in my direction.
I began counting down from three, but Sami didnt believe I would do it.
"Samantha Addison Shimmer, as your alpha, i command you to shift."
A few seconds after the sound of tearing clothes could be heard and a smirk on my face appeared as I saw Samis wolf staring at me.
'You're a jerk...' She mindlinked.
'You love me really' I replied, a smug look still on my face.
'Whatever, just help me shift back.'
Im pretty sure shes getting used to it now, although she hasnt shifted too much i can tell its getting easier. Every time she shifts there is still pain in her eyes but it will get better.
I kicked her ripped clothes away ready to go in the bin and handed her a fresh outfit. Sami had no nice clothes of her own yet, they were all old from when she lived with Sam.
"Jesse?" She asked, i looked at her and replied with
"Yah, whats up?"
There was a short pause as she finished putting on the remaining clothes.
"Will it get easier to shift when im 16? Like... Its a good age. Right ?" I wasn't exactly sure what she was talking about but i think it might get easier, or it might just get better with practise.
"Yeah, maybe." I answered, then continued thinking.
"When is your birthday?"
"4th May, i think. Must be its exactly a week before Levi's" She spoke.
"What? Thats not long to prepare !" I panicked, then mindlinked my mum telling her to meet me as soon as possible.
"Prepare for what?" She gave me a questioning look.
"Ummm maybe your birthday." I said in a 'duh' tone, "now com'on we gotta go plan."
She lightly squealed as i dragged her up the stairs to the alpha office.
