He was tall, dark, and that type of guy I didn't normally become attracted by. I stood by my friends' table and I saw how he moved between the girls at the bar. Yes, he was popular and everyone seemed to love him. I couldn't help but follow his body contour. He had an unbuttoned shirt, black tight pants, short dark curly hair and a face that could make the angels to smile. He was tattooed and maybe that was that part as made him dangerous, because his whole person just exuded safety, security and care.

"You're staring Kim!"

My friend Sally laughed and I reacted. I quickly looked at her.

"I get to watch!" I got hoarse out and looked back at the man. Yes, he was something that really caught my attention.

"He hangs out with Niall and the others." I heard Sally explained. "I think his name is Harry or Harold, or something."

I liked the name, even though I lived in the uncertainty of what he really was called.

"Do you know anything more?"

Sally laughed a little bit and she shook her head.

"I just know that Niall's his buddy and they hang out in the same gang."

He let his hand slide through his hair and I couldn't help but see that he had muscles. What a man! I was almost panting, and my whole body was screaming for him, but at the same time I knew my place. I belonged to the girls who didn't attracted that kind of guys. Okay, honestly, I hadn't even managed to attract a single guy. It was partly because I lacked some confidence and I found it hard to talk to men. I had no idea what to say or do. It was as if I was missing that social aspect, how to flirt.

"Should we talk to him?"

Sally's question got me quickly to change my mind.

"Never ever!"

She laughed and took her arm around my shoulders. Just to help me, she drew me back to the table, so that I was sitting with my back to the man. I was annoyed, but at the same time grateful. She broke that spell he had caused and I could come up with better ideas.

"You should look at these guys instead!" she whispered in my ear, just to make me in another mood. She nodded toward a table in the corner. There sat three pussies, three wimpy guys. They had glasses and they seemed foreign to everything that happened at the pub. I snorted. No, I didn't want to fall that low. I would rather be alone.

"What are you talking about?"

Eleanor appeared. Yes, she was that girl as  all the guys wanted and many times I was jealous of her. She made it harder for me to be discovered.

"Nothing!" Sally responded quickly and she got a smile to her. "It's a lot of people here tonight?"

Eleanor slid into the chair next to me and she nodded with satisfaction. I did everything not to look at her perfect face, the perfect long hair and her body as exuded anything other than what I had.

"Well, no guys!" I heard her say. "I think I'll go home soon."

My eyes drifted back to Harry or Harold or whoever he was. He stood and flirted with three girls. I should have realize that he was a player, but at the same time perhaps that was precisely what attracted girls to fall for him? He took a glass and drank a little, took his hand through his hair and turned around toward my direction. His eyes looked over the premises and I lost my breath when right at it was he did met my gaze. I don't know what happened inside me, but it was as if time stood still. Instead of keeping his gaze, I turned back and looked at my friends. It tingled all over and I couldn't help but smile. He had seen me. He had really seen me. I felt how my pulse rose, and my whole body was filled with that moment.
