" All aboard the train that was never canonized even if it should have"
It all started at the day Draco Malfoy was about to go to hogwarts. Draco Malfoy, a pure-blooded wizard who grew up with very strict parents, who were indeed very cruel, and thus this develops his character.
The day he had received his letter of acceptance in hogwarts, his father, Lucius Malfoy had thought him a lot since he was working in the ministry of magic. He had given his son pointers, on simple spells, potions that he might need to come in handy, but he was most cautious when it came to muggle studies.
He never wanted Draco to attend that class once he steps in hogwarts. He specifically instructed not to talk or go anywhere near mudbloods and muggles because Draco was told that they are nothing but a disgrace to the wizarding world, and that they could taint out the pure blooded wizards and witches, which he told that it would be very dangerous otherwise there would be chances that the wizarding world would be extinct once it has come to a point where the muggles would end them off once they had found out someone from their world is actually a witch or a wizard. Lucius told young Draco that it would destroy the reputation of every wizard in the world.
And the young, innocent Draco believed in what his father had always instructed him to do. He also said bad things about the Weasleys as well. Since Arthur Weasley works for the ministry of magic, he disliked his work because he adores muggles and even sometimes owns muggle artifacts. He said that the Weasleys were a disgrace to the pure-bloods and how naive they can be when it comes to non-magical people.
Before Draco Malfoy finally gets to hogwarts, he listed himself a few pointers his father had told him:
1. Never talk to muggleborns
2. Don't come anywhere near a Weasley
3. Become the most successful student in hogwarts
he hid it down at his case, and had set off to King's cross.
And there he was, at platform nine and three quarters, he saw a lot of children with baggages with them, some are coming in and some are embracing their parents. "Now remember what I taught you, Draco. You wouldn't want to dissapoint me now, would you?" said Lucius as Draco looked up to him and smiled to say, "Yes, Father" as he grabbed his bags and boarded the train.
Draco went inside, peeked through the windows of each compartment in search for his friends Crabbe and Goyle. He was so dearly confused and focused, looking through each of the windows when suddenly a rather chubby boy had exited his compartment, who looked upset and hysterical, as he was scanning the floor as if he had lost something. It had made Draco stop for a moment since the boy was blocking his way.
"Neville, would you please calm down? I'm sure he's in here somewhere. He couldn't possibly just escape through the door when you closed it" Draco turned his head to his right, seeing a girl, who has fuzzy hair and brown sparkly eyes.
The girl immediately took notice upon the blond-haired boy who was standing right outside their compartment. They both shared glances for atleast three seconds, not until Neville had gone to search for his toad inside the train.
Draco insisted to move forward to search for Crabbe and Goyle; he had found them, along with newer friends inside their compartment. Draco sat down beside a girl named Pansy Parkinson along with a boy named Blaise Zabini.
The train finally moved, the trolley filled with sweets started roaming around the corridors. Crabbe and Goyle had bought a lot of treats to dig in the whole ride.
It was then when the girl with a fuzzy hair had came barging into their compartment, opening the door without any consent to say, "I'm sorry to bother you but a boy has lost his toad. Have you seen it?" as she glanced over the blond boy once more, knowing that they have seen each other earlier.
"N-no" Draco replied, and the rest of them shook their heads.
"Well perhaps if you see anything other than peppermint toads or chocolate frogs that don't look like food, please go tell us quickly. My name's Hermione Granger by the way. Our compartment's over to your left if you need me." said the girl, who reached out her hand, waiting for a handshake. Unfortunately for her, they all stared, and she looed at Draco and smiled, but then cleared her throat, dropping her hand back down in embarrasment.
immediately she had worn her robes in front of them, pushing her hair back as she gently closed the door.
Everyone inside remained silent for a moment, Crabbe and Goyle shrugged and continued eating their chocolate frogs.
Everyone was talking, Pansy went to the loo, and Draco had only stared through the window for the past couple of minutes of him being the only one silent. Pansy came back to share giggles and Draco wasn't even paying attention until she called him.
"Hey, that Granger girl, she seems pretty nice, right?" She teased.
"Oh... yeah, I guess so"
"Ooooohh" everyone cooed in unison.
"What?" Draco asked.
"Well I heard that this girl named named Lavender who told this girl Lindsey who told this other girl named Anna who told Parvati who told Padma who told Susan that Hermione Granger fancies you"
"Wow, we haven't been at hogwarts and you got an admirer already, Malfoy" Blaise teased, making the young Draco feel a little flattered.
"Really? Oh well, I don't really care" he smirked.
"But you should! Wouldn't it be nice when you finish hogwarts and come home with a girl?" said Goyle.
"Is it really mandatory?"
"I mean, yeah I guess so. My father told me it would bring honor to the pure-blooded wizards. If I were you I'd make my father proud"
"That's a lot of bollocks, Goyle" Draco rolled his eyes.
"Well why don't you give it a go? Talk to her" Blaise suggested.
"Why do you care so much if I want to talk to her or not? I don't even know her."
"Oh come on! She must've known you're a Malfoy! Of course Malfoys are extremely popular because of your father working at the ministry. Plus the way she looked at you, she definitely wore her robes infront of us just to show off" said Pansy, wiggling her brows.
Draco had thought it was a joke, but they all looked so impressed that it was only the first day and someone has gained a crush on him. Though he had to admit it to himself, it was really cool, which immediately gained his confidence and self-esteem. If I talk to her, maybe then she'll tell her friends how cool it is that her crush is talking to her. I would be instantly famous! he thought to himself.
"Well, what can I say? Malfoys are extremely rare" He joked, and everyone tried to control their laughs. "All right, fine. I'll go talk to her if that's what makes her happy then I'll be glad to make her wishes come true"
