"I don't have time for this" she rolled her eyes. And that was it. He lost his chance of getting her to lift his curse. But of course, who's behind all of this except for none other than the curse itself controlling him and what he has to say?
When Hermione was out for their next class, Ginny was waiting outside of her classroom to speak to her. "Hermione!" she called. "Hey, Ginny" she greeted as they walked together down the corridors.
"So.. what happened back there?" Ginny whispered, motioning to the classroom door as they walk. "Did you talk?" she asked. "Uh. yeah, we did" she nodded.
"and what did he say?" she asked. "He... called me a mudblood," Hermione lied.
Meanwhile for Draco, He tried his best not to cry, with his body shaking and aching in pain, and the hissing noise had erupted on his brain. "why? why don't you just kill me already?" Draco whispered. "Ah, but I love to see you suffer. after all, this is the consequences of your own actions, Draco. disobedience is not a very good thing" the cursed laughed upon him while he exits the classroom.
He walked down the hall on his way to the room of requirement, where he was still told to fix the vanishing cabinet, sadly neither Crabbe or Goyle knows how to fix things, so he has to solve it on his own, and keep in mind that Draco was still very depressed, and scared of himself and Voldemort ever since. But still, he just had no choice but to do it. Afterwards, he went to the library alone looking quite suspicious. He's been inside there for hours, not even daring to eat.
He was so hooked with all the books he'd forgotten that the library was shutting down, so, instead of actually going out, he hid somewhere behind the bookshelves to perhaps look for more useful information at the restricted section, when Crabbe and Goyle finally found him.
"There you are," said Crabbe.
"We've been looking all over for you mate, what are you doing here?" Goyle asked.
"Oh I don't know, taking a bath, probably" said Draco sarcastically while surrounded by books. "No I mean, it's almost curfew, we haven't seen you in dinner and--"
"Goyle, could you please? I'm trying to read" Draco cuts him off.
"What are you reading anyway?"
"I can't tell you... wait, you know what, I will" said Draco, asking the two to sit down and talk. The plan was to help him fix the vanishing cabinet, but neither of them knows how to mend things. So he had no choice but to do it himself. But still, Crabbe and Goyle had to guard him while doing it. "How are we gonna do that?" Crabbe asked.
And to think their conversation was unending, two older hufflepuff prefects came in and asked them to leave. "I have an idea" Draco's lips formed a smirk-- that what if he turns the two into girls to make them look unsuspicious? At the same time, it could intrigue Hermione as to why he has them, to let her fall into his trap to make her help Draco lift the curse. That idea brightened.

A month has swept by and Hermione was trying her best to avoid Cormac Mclaggen the past few weeks now that she's found out he's got a bit of an interest in her. Hermione wasn't taking any of his chance. "Really, Hermione?" Ginny laughed in her disbelief. "One of the hottest gryffindors and you want to turn him down? for who?" Hermione eyed Ron whose hands were currently wrapped in Lavender's arms.
"No.. No, no no" Ginny pursed her lips. "I can't see it. I have to be honest with you, Mione." she nodded. "Yeah well, it's a hopeless case, he doesn't see me like that anyway" Hermione shrugged. "Oh come on, there are loads of other guys at hogwarts! Plus, I know my brother. He's not that very-- observative when it comes to women's feelings"
