it has been a few weeks since Draco came across Hermione, usually too busy to even care about him at all. He became even more mad after finding out that Mcgonagall was the one who let Harry play for quidditch.
"Him? Quidditch? even my own father wouldn't let me use my broomstick" Draco stormed back into the sofa at the common room.
"Well, he is after all the boy who lived" said Crabbe, his eyes were consentrated at the chess board.
"Does it look like I care?" He glared back at Crabbe, whilst he was playing against Goyle in wizard's chess.
"Move your horse over to your right" Draco suggested. Since Crabbe thinks Draco was a master at chess, he did what he was told.
Sadly he shouldn't, and now he became queen-less because of Draco.
"WHAT?!" Crabbe exclaimed. "Draco! That's unfair"
"Life is unfair, dunnit? See, if Potter got in the try outs shouldn't I try out for the slytherin team as well?"
"I don't think you're allowed to try out for quidditch, we're too young" said Goyle.
"How did you expect Potter to be in the team?"
"Probably because he's famous" said Crabbe.
"Ugh, not this again" Draco rolled his eyes.
"Why do you hate him for being a celebrity anyway?"
"He's not just a celebrity-- my father had told me the truth about him" he said boastly.
                              "What truth?"
and before Draco could even speak, Pansy bursts in, with Millicent with her. "You guys do not know how long and horrible we both had to deal with until Milli retrieved her memory! where's Blaise? I'll show him--"
"He's in the bathroom" said Draco.
Pansy, who still looked horribly upset, ran straight into the boys dormitory to look for him, even Crabbe and Goyle tried to stop her. and Milli, who couldn't even look Crabbe and Goyle in the eye, sat down beside Draco and took a deep sigh.
"I-it's not real, is it?" Millicent asked.
                              "What's not real?"
                              "About Crabbe and Goyle"
"I really don't know, and I honestly don't care" Draco rolled his eyes, standing up and leaving the common room.
It was already past their bed time, and Draco thought it would be a good idea to roam around the corridors stealthily to avoid the prefects.
When he was on his way to the courtyard, he gasped, after hearing sets of footsteps coming from the corridor nearby. He hid behind a large post, peeked thru to see Harry, Ron, and Hermione were out their beds at night. So he decided to follow them instead, without making it any more obvious to the trio.
Until they had lead Draco to Hagrid's hut, in which case Hagrid had even let them in. I wonder what they're up to again. Draco thought to himself, when they entered the hut, Draco slowly made his way to peek through one of the windows.
When he was able to, he saw them talking, but hardly could ever hear any word they were saying. He of course automatically thinks Harry was the first one who planned this kind of mischief, letting his friends join him on it to scamper around late nights.
For a while of trying to hear them, he saw a huge egg in which Hagrid has placed very carefully on the table, and was very visible to Draco even if he was only looking outside.
