"Nice face, Potter" he sniggered once he'd seen Harry finally out of the train, with his nose all bloody and broken, Draco made his way to hogwarts with his neck felt like it was going to snap, and the curse was getting darker inside of him that almost felt like he's losing all of his emotions.
He stumbled upon Professor Snape and asked him, "where are your friends?"
"really? you've come all the way to fetch me to ask where my friends are?" Draco scoffed.
"I am a teacher, not a butler, Mr. Malfoy, know how to respect" he hissed.
"yeah, well you wanna know what I think?" he playfully chuckled, putting his luggages onto the carriage, as he climbs on it, "I think that if you could understand what's inside of me then we'll talk" as the carriage started to drive him to hogwarts.
Professor Snape thought that it would be a joke, but really, Draco was serious. After all this pain and suffering he's been silently getting, Draco decided that it was time he tells someone about the curse.
Ever since the unbreakable vow, Draco was promised that he'd be protected at all costs the whole seventh year. Days began darker and nights became colder, As Draco's mind after he altered his way of loosing in touch with his first girlfriend was making him depressed at the fact that even though he was free, he still isn't allowed to be anywhere near Hermione Granger.
One night at the slytherin common room when Draco was all alone sitting next to the fireplace, his mind was occupied with ideas on how to strategically end the headmaster's life. Of course he didn't want it, but this was all for the sake of the dark lord, the one his father has told him when he was younger-- Draco was promised that his father would be released from azkaban if he does this, and his family will be spared from death. Although, growing up throughout the years, he seemed to have disobeyed his father and slowly learning the ways of the muggle born and how different they are from what his father have mentioned. He tried to talk it out with his father once, but no; Lucius did not care to listen to anything his son has to say. All that matters is that he controls the family in the way he wants it and not even his own son can object.
But now that he's requested to do the act, he has no choice but to obey. Moments later, Professor Snape had entered the common room, telling Draco to come to the potions classroom for a discussion. Draco certainly knew that this was about the plan, and so he followed him.
The dark matter lingering inside of Draco was starting to creep up again, chanting and whispering something in a language he couldn't understand. It was hissing all the way to the classroom where they had to discuss Draco's plans of action.
But upon telling Snape his initial plan, he started sweating, and felt very jittery, until he closed his eyes to think about good thoughts in his head. But the only thing that came out was Hermione's face, smiling at the little children.
"I know your deepest secrets, Draco" the dark curse hissed. "I've always known.." and the voice kept getting louder and louder until it hit him-- the voice sounded so familiar, but he's never heard of it outside of his head.
"What's the matter? Tell me!" Professor Snape walked closer to him. He thought that the Dark Lord was using legilimens on Draco. "Control yourself, Draco!" Professor Snape commanded. But it was too late. Draco doesn't know it, but the curse living inside him for almost six years was from none other than Lord Voldemort.
It took a while, until Draco got out of it, taking deep breaths and almost letting out a tear. "The-- the curse" said Draco. "Something's inside of me, and I can't get it out" he cried, dropping down into his knees.
"What curse?" Snape asked.
"I-- I don't know. It's been haunting me since my first year.. ever since.. ever since we found a dead unicorn. We don't know who's been killing it." said Draco, letting tears finally roll down his cheeks. Professor Snape then finally knew that it was no ordinary curse or hex. It was supposedly for Voldemort.
