Weasley's Mistletoe

Come on!" Lucy yelled to her siblings, "We're going to be late!"

"The party doesn't start until five, Luce!" Edmund yelled back as he hopped down the stairs with Peter in his wake.

"We promised Molly we'd help set up." She huffed as she reached to straighten Edmund's emerald tie. Edmund liked showing that he was a Slytherin; he liked proving that they all weren't nasty people.

Lucy smiled when she saw that he had cleaned up and reached over to brushed his fringe out of his eyes. She glanced over Peter, who was well-dressed but scowling. "Peter!"

"I don't like how Percy and Susan look at each other Lucy!" He growled. He had been a bear since the invitation had arrived days earlier. The Weasley's Christmas Party! The envelope had sprayed fireworks into the air, spelling out the invitation in red and green. It had given their poor muggle aunt quite the shock- Eustace, on the other hand, was fascinated.

"I'm sure they're shagging!" Lucy shot back angrily as she shoved past her brothers, "Susan! You look lovely, now let's go!" Susan descended the stairs, putting her earring in, "I'm coming Lucy!"

"Looking your best for Percy?" Peter let out snidely.

"Don't start Peter!" Susan warned.

"It's Lee who trails after her…" Edmund smirked and Lucy slapped him, "Not now Edmund!" She cautioned, but she had to smile. Edmund's comments may have been snarky, but they were bloody good or funny. Edmund held his hands up in surrender and gestured for Lucy to lead the way.

Grabbing a handful of Floo Powder, she yelled "The Burrow!" and the green flames consumed her. She felt her body twist and turn and then the fireplace spit her up into someone's arms.

"See Fred, I told you she wanted me!"

"The fact that you caught her means nothing- she still wants me!" Lucy straightened and wrapped her arms around the twins "Happy Christmas!"

"Happy Christmas Lu!" They wished in unison and then George let go to give Edmund a hand out of the fireplace.

"Are they on their way-" Percy came bustling in "Oh, hello Lucy. Edmund." The fireplace lit up again and Percy rushed forward. "Susan! Hello, Happy Christmas!" He gave her an awkward hug and they both turned a little red. Peter came out the fireplace, took one look at Susan and Percy, and turned his own shade red. Lucy shot him a warning look before he could say anything.

Molly came bustling "Hello dears! Happy Christmas!" She embraced them all, pinching Edmund and Peter's cheeks. "Thank you all for offering to help!"

"Peter, Edmund! Go help Bill and Charles outside!" The boys headed outside, with Peter throwing one last glare at Susan.

"I can-" Percy cleared his throat, "Susan can help me."

"And George and I-"

"Would love to give them a hand."

The twins smirked; Fred wrapped an arm around Susan and George wrapped his arm around Percy, who was pink and sputtering. Molly turned to Lucy, "Alright Lucy love, since Ron, Harry and Hermione have got decorating and de-gnoming covered, you can help Ginny and I in the kitchen."

Lucy smiled- the funny thing about helping Molly in the kitchen is that she rarely needed help. She walked over to Ginny, we was leaning against the counter surrounded by foods stirring, pouring and cooking themselves.

"Hello Gin." Lucy greeted her as she joined her leaning against the counter.

"Lucy. How have your Holidays been?"
