Lucy loved going out for Chinese food with her friends. It was her, her dormmate, the girls across the hall and various guys from there classes. They had created a close knit little group- and no matter how busy they got with college and work and various other things- they always met for Chinese food every other Friday.

While the other girls chatted away about some cute professor (a little creepy in Lucy's opinion), Lucy let her mind wander. She looked around the restaurant, wondering where Caspian was- he should have been back from the restroom by now. Lucy played with her chopsticks as she looked and finally saw him by the counter...with a group of lovely girls, all batting their eyelashes at him.

Lucy drummed her chopsticks on the bench, watching Caspian being chatted up by women. He looked bored, irritated in fact. He looked up and made eye contact with her. He smiled at her, not focusing on the ladies. Lucy decided that Caspian could do with some real company and walked over to join him.

"Hello Caspian," she smiled as she approached, "I was wondering what had kept you." She looked pointedly at the gaggle of girls. They looked at her with distain; the look turned to a glare when Caspian wrapped his arm around Lucy's waist.

"Sorry Lu," he smiled, "I got ambushed." Lucy almost had to laugh at these girls now- they looked halfway between offended and pouting. "Well our food will be here soon." Lucy said moving his arm from around her waist and grasping his hand. "Let's return to our table." She said tugging him away.

When they were a few feet away he laughed, "Thanks Lucy, they wouldn't leave me alone." He glances back quickly, "Why are they still watching?"

"They can't figure out why you're with me." Lucy shrugged.

"Because you're smart, funny, caring and ten times more beautiful than they think they are." He looked at her, "A million times more beautiful than they actually are... Combined."

Lucy smiled, "What did you do?"

"Nothing!" Caspian said earnestly, "I'm just saving up for the next stupid thing I do." He gave her a half smile. She smacked him lightly on the chest and then put her hands on his shoulders. She raised on her tiptoes and have him a light peck.

"Lucy! Caspian! Food's here, stop making out!"

Lucy flipped her friends a not so nice finger, but laughed at their antics. She and Caspian clasped hands again and went back to their friends.
