Sehun

I looked up from my food and took a glance at her. She was just staring down at her plate, messing with the food. My heart ached for all the torment I had put her though, she didn't deserve any of it. I sighed making her look at me.

"I'm sorry." I spoke

"I should be the one saying that." She replied

I extended my hand out for her. She looked at my hand then back at me. After hesitating she decided to take it. I smiled and squeezed her hand in reassurance.

"I could go on and on with my excuses, but in the end, it's still a fact that I've wronged you." I spoke in a low voice

"Sehun," she shook her head, "you don't have to explain anything to me. I know it wasn't your choice."

She gave a small nod before looking down again. What she's saying and what she's thinking were two different things, anyone could tell.

I grabbed her plate and pulled it to me making her eyes widen.

I grabbed my fork and picked up the food. I held up the fork in front of her mouth. She hesitated before she opened her mouth, but I took it back and ate it instead.

"Mm, delicious." I joked

"Don't be like that, come on." She whined

I chuckled and picked up more to feed her. My attempt at changing the mood was slightly successful. Though I knew sooner or later, we would have to seriously talk things out. But for now, a peaceful dinner is what we both needed.

"You never told me," I started, "how was working at the company?"

"Ah, it was just okay. I worked, and I learned a lot. Of course they weren't expecting me to do much since I was a complete newbie. But you know, I helped in some way." She answered

"I was surprised to hear that you were working there.  They told me you were in training but I didn't think they'd give you much work to do. It was hard resisting the urge to visit and see how you were doing out there."

She softly sighed and stayed quiet, just nodding. I cursed myself for bringing that up. So much for having a peaceful dinner.

"What matters is that you're here now. I know you were busy, so I tried to be as understanding as I could. But you can't blame me for still feeling a bit distant." She looked away

"I know, I'm sorry. I would never blame you for anything." I sighed, "You know, I just thought that maybe, in a way, if I didn't keep contact with you, it would've been easier to move on. For you I mean, of course, I had no plans on moving on and I had accepted that."

"Do you really think that sounds fair? So you wanted only me to move on?" She asked

"In all honesty, no of course I didn't. I had even prayed you wouldn't either. But if it was easier for you to do so, then I would've been happy for you." I replied

"You left that day right after confessing your feelings. Did you think I was just gonna throw that out the window? And you're still my fiancé for gods sake." She rolled her eyes

"On paper yeah, I didn't think you took it seriously. I know that you're close with Kai, and I heard a few things surrounding you two... so I thought you were interested in him." I let slip

"Really Sehun? Is that what you think of me? I mean even if I was interested in him in the past, I wouldn't have been able to get with him after everything that happened between us." She suddenly said

"Whats that supposed to mean?" I asked

"You left after confessing and giving me my first kiss don't you think thats unfair to me? My heart will always crave your love, whether I like it or not." Her eyes suddenly darted away

The corners of my lips curved up a bit at her sudden shy state. I couldn't say anything to that. She cleared her throat and grabbed her plate again to eat. I smiled to her when we made eye contact but she just turned away.

"Come on why are you acting like this now?" I raised my brows as I tilted my head to get a better view of her face

"You and your stupid thoughts." She muttered while looking away

"Alright, I'm sorry Victoria. I promise never to think that way again. And I'd love to give you all my love. That way you don't have to crave it anymore." I teased

"Stop! Gosh I shouldn't have said that." She groaned

"Well I'm glad you did either way, so I'm not left guessing your feelings." I softly chuckled

"Just eat your food." She scolded as her face turned red in color

"Were you lonely?" She asked

I looked up to think for a second,"I was too busy to feel lonely." I lied

"You had that much work huh?" She sighed

"It wasn't too bad. I mean I had a team to help me, and my mentor as well. He was a great person, though a bit harsh, I know deep inside he's caring. Actually, he forced me to come here." I scoffed while smiling

"So you weren't gonna come?" She asked surprised

I hesitated to answer for a split second but I did so anyway, "Honestly, no I wasn't. I had about a year and a half left? So I wanted to finish up before I returned."

"Well I'm thankful for your mentor now." She smiled

"Trust me I am too." I laughed

"Well, its getting pretty late now, head back?" She asked

"Not really, I still want to spend more time with you." I said

"Who said we cant spend time together at home?" She replied

"Are you inviting me over?" I smirked

"Spend the night with me." She looked me in the eye

I paused for a second, processing the words she said. I raised my brows and looked at her, wondering if she knew what she was saying.

"Spend the night? Are you saying-"

"Yes, that's what I'm saying. Spend the night with me." She repeated

I chuckled and pulled her closer to me. I pecked her lips softly while smiling.

"I can't say no to that now can I?" I teased
