"He's waiting in there." He stopped and gestured for me to go in
I eyed him before going inside the office.
"I'll take it from here you can go back to work." The secretary spoke to the manager
"Right this way sir, he is waiting for you inside." The secretary gestured to the door waiting for me to go in
I slowly stepped in the office. I closed the door behind me and sat in one of the chairs. He finished writing and looked up at me with that cold stare that always greeted me first.
"Finally you're here." He cleared his throat, "I was just looking over some of your work here."
I looked at him blankly waiting for him to continue.
"I'm just here to see how you're doing. I wanted to check your progress here and any projects you took over."
"Is that all?" I asked
"Well-"
"Mr. Oh there's someone here to see you." The secretary informed
"Tell them I'll be there in a few minutes, I just have a little thing I need to do." He replied
The secretary bowed and left. I looked back at my dad to see what he was going to say now.
"Well, you can head on home now since we're done here." he said
We both got up and headed towards the door. As soon as I exited the secretary's office, the manager was right there waiting for me.
"Young Sir right this way." He started

'Knock knock'
I looked up from the papers on my desk to see Mr. Lee leaning on the door to his office.
"So, your dad told me what you guys were talking about the other day." He started
"And?"
"He told me that he's cutting your stay here short after seeing your progress." He said
I stayed silent, thinking about what I just heard. He never told me that.
"Did he mention how much he's shortening it?" I asked
"Not really, he might send you a message later on since you seem to know nothing about it. Well, either way let's head to the meeting, it will start in 5 minutes. You'll be leading it." He announced
I nodded and picked up the file on my desk and followed him to the meeting room. I looked over the papers quickly.
"Welcome young sir." I was immediately greeted by the employees
I waited till everyone gathered before starting. My short opening speech quickly ended with everyone's applause. It was Mr. Lee's turn to start. I tuned out his words after noticing some commotion right outside the building. It would be rude to get up in the middle of a meeting. But I kept looking back towards the glass window to check what's going on with the front of the building.
